Awful company!! Lowest pay of any contract agency and beyond unprofessional! If you're a therapist...RUN AWAY! If you're a client, don't even think of coming here! If they're this unprofessional with their employees, imagine what they would be like with your child!! Here's just a couple of ridiculous occurrences. After numerous random, unprofessional incidents, I decided to quit. I gave my notice and received an email stating that all paperwork had to be submitted by end of The month or you wouldn't get paid. This is ridiculous by itself! NO AGENCY DOES THIS! After submitting, I called/emailed to confirm my billing was received ...for 5 straight days!! Normally, I'd receive a response that day via phone or email. ALL STAFF, including the owner (Joe Destefano), actually dodged my phone calls/emails trying to avoid paying me my last paycheck! I Called every day, numerous times to both the billing person and Joe. Every time, "sorry, they're not in the office". No response to email after email. THIS NEVER HAPPENED ANY TIME IN THE PAST WITH THEM! The last day I panicked when I had to confirm. I called 5 times that morning and the receptionist continually told me the billing person wasn't in. After the last call, I actually had a friend call from his phone. literally 15 seconds after I hung up. He introduced himself and asked for billing...the response, "hang on I'll put you right through"!!!! When I took the phone and said it was me calling to confirm my billing was received, the woman actually laughed!!!! 3 minutes after the phone call, by some miraculous Coincidence, I received an email from Joe destefano stating she received my billing!! Just beyond disgusting to screw a therapist out of their paycheck! Another ridiculous interaction was when I was accused of hiring another therapist to put in my place in the school I was at. After Joe realized she was completely wrong and her accusations were Completely unfounded, I received no apology or explanation...just ok, bye! What a joke of an agency! Run away unless you want to work for peanuts, possibly not get paid or have problems with your children's services!!!
