Dr. Frendo is amazing, he evaluated my daughter's severe disc herniation, recommended course of treatment, skillfully performed the surgical procedure, provided follow-up care, and my daughter is pain-free for the first time in over a year. She had been in excruciating pain and can finally get back to a functional life. We had seen every other kind of doctor over the couse of the year that you can name, and Dr. Frendo was our solution within one month. Thank you, Dr. Frendo!!!!!

Dr. does not listen to what you have to say. Will speak over you. Didn't even get any of my problems out before he pushed me out of his office.

Dr. Frendo and his staff couldn't have been more friendly and caring. He used all the latest equipment and techniques when performing my spine surgery and I felt immediate relief as soon as I woke up. He explained everything he was going to do before the procedure and everything I should expect after. I'm able to do the things now that I couldn't before. I'm very grateful to have had a skilled surgeon fix my back issues.

I went to Dr. Frendo about a neck injury that was paining me. He was a second opinion I was seeking about surgery options. I thought his explanation of the injuries and what was going to be done to correct it made me very comfortable. I chose him to be my surgical doctor. The surgery was 2 weeks ago and although my injuries were complex, he made me comfortable with what he did in the surgery, that is really what I was looking for, a doctor who made me comfortable and able to understand the injury and surgery process, and I have had 19 prior surgeries so I have heard a lot before, he is by far one of the most competent.

We saw Dr. Frendo as a second opinion for my husband's back problem. Before that we had been working with South Island Orthopedics for nearly 2 months and his condition only worsened to the point the pain travelled to his leg and he was not able to walk. SIO did not do anything and advised him to continue PT. First time we met Dr. Frendo, he reviewed the MRIs and explained what was going on, in a very professional and friendly manner. He also left us time for questions. He told us the severity and advised surgery right away. The surgery was done within a week and my husband is able to walk again! One more note to add is that on the date of surgery, it was delayed by 2 hours and he called me to let me know not to worry and advised me of the delay, instead of keeping me in the dark. Dr. Frendo was extremely patient and thoughtful and made the stressful situation as easy as possible. Their office staff are great too, we completed the disability paperwork within 2 business days. Definitely recommend!!!

Dr. Frendo is the best surgeon! He is caring, dedicated, and compassionate. When I got hurt at work a few years ago my life was in complete turmoil. I had done physical therapy, every kind of pain relief injections out there, and nerve ablations. I suffered for years and none of these interventions brought me any long term relief. As months turned to years I became desperate for answers and help. Every doctor told me I just needed to rest, but honestly I knew in my heart I wasn’t getting better. In fact I was getting worse. When I went to Dr. Frendo I was desperate to find help. He sat with me, listened attentively, and assured me things were not hopeless. I knew from that day that I had found the right doctor. Dr. Frendo never gave up on me and that motivated me to not give up. In December 2020 he performed ACDF surgery on my cervical spine and in January 2022 he performed surgery on my lumbar spine. I trust Dr. Frendo completely and he is truly a gifted surgeon.

Dr Frendo and his whole team of NPs, nurses, assistants, X-ray tech and all at LISS go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and at ease when making very hard decisions about your health. They are there for you every step of the way including and most importantly recovery. I feel so safe and cared for with Dr Frendo. He gave me my life back!! I can’t say enough good things.
