He is EXCELENT DR very friendly
professional, and honest visit.
This guy saved my life in 2011 came over to Good Samaritan hospital in the middle of night for a brain surgery after a gunshot wound to the Head took the bone out of my head so my brain won't swell I know it sounds gruesome but very true then replaced it with a cosmetic bone,! SMH on top of all of thatwhen he replaced the bone the surgery was so perfect you can't even tell that it even happened to me his work is most certainly second to none! And is also such a humble person great person good work!
Dr. Dronald Kreiff and his staff are great ! I called over 5 doctors offices and explained the pain I was in and no one can see me until the end of September. I was referred to Dr. Kreiff called the office on a Tuesday and was in his office the next day (he saw me on his day off). I had a protruded disc in L4-L5 that was compromising my nerve line in my whole left leg down to my toes. I was in agony!. He performed a discectomy on me on his day off! I can't even begin to explain how greatful I am to him and his team.. If you are looking for a doctor that truly still cares and is compassionate, he is the one! He is a brain and spine surgeon.
I receive the best treatment from Dr. Krieff and his staff. I was treated as if I was part of his family. He relieved me from the worst pain I ever had in my life. I was diagnosed quickly and treated immediately. I am forever grateful. Thank you!!
I interviewed many doctors before deciding to have Dr. Krieff operate on me. Although I live in NJ I chose to make several 2 hour trips to see Dr. Krieff. He came off very sincere, competent, confidant and RESPONSIVE and I am extremely happy with my decision. A few weeks before my wedding, my symptoms were getting worse. I felt like I wouldn't be able to walk down the aisle if I didn't' have surgery. I was able to dance at my wedding because of Dr. Krieff.Don thank you! I will always be thankful for all you have done to give me my life back.
Very happy with my visit. Very professional. Friendly and caring.
Dr.krieff made me at ease with my surgery.
Terrible- he sold me on an implant that he said would relieve the pain- it did not- more problems after surgery. Never saw him after surgery- only the PA- nasty and condescending. Told him at 6 weeks I was still having chest pain as I told him at all the post op visits. He told me if I was that concerned I should see my GP. I did I had pneumonia- Office staff was also rude- only wanted your insurance information.
I had two back surgeries with Dr Krieff 12 years apart. Both times I went in with extreme pain. After both surgeries I was up and walking the same day. He is a great surgeon that I highly recommend. My pain was relieved both times after surgery and I healed well. His PA Keith is great as well. Staff is so helpful and friendly. He truly has let me continue to live a life I love pain free. All the thanks in the world to Dr Krieff and his team!
When my mom's late stage brain cancer was diagnosed, Dr. Krieff sat down with her and the family for a kind but honest discussion of her condition. Two days later he performed surgery. Although follow up surgery turned out not to be an option, he saw us in his office and treated us with dignity and compassion. Truly a privilege to have worked with him.
My husband & I went to Dr. Krieff for a consultation. Dr. Krieff was very informative & explained my husband's options without any pressure. After leaving his office my husband chose to go ahead with the surgery, Dr. Krieff and his staff were wonderful and made my husband feel comfortable with his choice. The surgery was a success. The patient has recovered and we could not be happier with the results.
I hobbled into Dr Krieff's office on crutches with pain shooting down my leg.He advised an MRI ASAP.With the results in hand he saw a ruptured disc and particles were lodged on my sciatic nerve and recommended surgery.Dr Krieff explained the procedure in detail and I was up and walking virtually pain free the next day. Dr.Krieff doesn't treat you like a patient he treats you like family along with his West Islip office. Excellent staff. I highly recommend Dr. Krieff.
Dr. Krieff was excellent from start to finish. My mother, who had been suffering from back pain for years, went to see Dr. Krieff thinking she needed one procedure, and after discussing where her pain was and getting a little bit of history, she ended up with a spinal cord stimulator. Dr. Krieff explained everything extensively and assured her that he felt that was exactly what would help her. It did in fact. She is pain free and grateful that he was able to help.
Dr krieff performed my Microdiscectomy surgery and this review is 7 days post op.Dr Krieff is very professional and has alot of confidence in his ability to make you feel better. .he made his rounds in the morning and came in early to see me and look at the wound and address any concerns. .For me the first 2 days were difficult for pain levels but began to improve after..For my individual case it seems today that the surgery was a success. .i couldn't walk on my left leg pre op and I am now walking around my house. .Highly recommend for a mircodisectomy.
Back in 1996 Dr Mechanic operated on my Father, who was in a bad car accident on the Northern State Pkwy.....I received a phone call from Winthrop Hospital and all we knew was that he was being operated on...when it was over, Dr Mechanic came down to the waiting room....introduced himself to me, my Mom and my Aunt which led to a very comical situation he introduced himself and my Aunt Gloria just looked at him and said "You gotta' be kidding me !!" I'm sure that wasn't the first time he heard that !! but he ended up piecing my Fathers skull back together and my Father has been fine ever since....he's 85 and still going strong thanks to Dr Mechanic....on behald of my whole family....THANK YOU and God bless you Doc....we couldn't have asked for a more caring and gifted Doctor and also a very nice guy....God bless Doc
My experience was not what I expected from this referral. I did not feel like I was being heard for the seriousness of my condition. Only to find out my MRI report was written incorrectly by the Radiologist and even though the disc was submitted and the time of my appointed it was overlooked as well. I do not feel I got an accurate diagnosis because missed information was not reviewed.
