Dr Dewal and his staff are really top notch. After researching Dr Dewal, I felt that I was in the best hands possible. I had a seriously compressed and degenerated spinal cord in my neck, that required a five level c3-t1 front and back fusion with a laminectomy. Later on down the line, I needed a thoracic t9-t12 fusion with a laminectomy. I'm very grateful that Dr Dewal is supremely qualified in all areas of spinal surgery. He brought me through all this way beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Dr Dewal to anyone.

I am a breast cancer survivor and have gone through a lot but surprisingly the pain that I had in my neck was the worst I ever experienced, I came to see Dr DeWal and expressed to him how much pain I had and he reviewed my MRIs and explained everything to me, I did need surgery and the date he had for me didn’t work because I would have had no help, Dr DeWal was so compassionate, he was scheduled to be on vacation but postponed his plans to do my surgery a week later, his office and surgical scheduler were so amazing and helped me get through this hard time of my life, I had surgery with Dr DeWal and I felt instant relief once I woke up and the excruciating pain was gone, I am so grateful to Dr DeWal for all his and expert skills, he is the best and his team is amazing!! I highly recommend him and am eternally grateful for his compassion and care for me, he is in a million

First off, I don’t write reviews but felt compelled to in this instance. From the first visit through surgery and after care Dr. Dewal had my best interest at heart. Instantly after surgery the pain I had been experiencing for years was gone. It helps to choose the right surgeon the first time. If I had to do it all over again there would be no question I would choose Dr. Dewal. In my opinion he is the best of the best. How do you thank someone who will greatly benefit the rest of your life? Two of the most powerful professions are healthcare professionals and teachers. Without health and knowledge what do we have? Thank you endlessly Dr. Dewal for giving me my life back. For years, I was living in a shell of my body in pain and severely limited in my abilities. Thankfully no more.

From start to finish Dr Dewal is the best, he made me comfortable and my neck surgery came out great, I cannot say enough about him, he is very skilled and my stay Huntington Hospital was amazing, Dr Dewal is so kind and awesome I highly recommend him

I suffered with severe back and hip pain for 3 months. Dr. Dewal was able to accommodate me quickly and operated on a Friday and I was up and about by Monday. 11 days post surgery I was able to walk for 1 mile. I can't say enough good about this doctor.

Had lower back surgery with Dr. Dewal. And am finally feeling like my old self again. Him and his team were nothing but welcoming and pure professionals. Highly recommend

Dr Dewal is an exceptional surgeon and his staff are both professional and caring. I would recommend them highly if you have spine related issues.

After almost 2 years of being misdiagnosed and wrong courses of treatment I went to see Dr. Dewal. He is amazing. He uncovered my issue immediately and put forth a course of action. Ended up needing spinal fusion... in the end I got a whole new lease on life with no pain or discomfort thanks to him.

Dr Dewal and his staff which is quite extensive are ALL so professional, friendly and accommodating!! I really cannot say enough about this office. I truly believe it is a reflection of Dr Dewal, and the team he has chosen to build. I have been suffering for years with a bad back and more recent severe sciatica for the last year. I’ve been to several of the top doctors in the city who never offered me anything other than pills and palliative care with no success in lieu of what they said would be a very big surgery. My friend is an OR nurse where Dr Dewal and Dr George perform surgery and said you need to see him. Well, I’m 3 days post surgery and it’s a miracle, truly. He said “don’t expect it to be gone right away”lol; it may take several weeks. It was gone when I woke up. Laminectomy is a very non-invasive way to get your life back with little downtime. There’s some soreness and discomfort which I expected but very manageable. I can’t say enough about Dr Dewal and his team at Long Island Spine Specialists. I’m so beyond grateful and excited to get back to my life without living in pain everyday ♥️🎉

I went to see to Dr. Dewal and PA Mohammad after my slip on black ice after I have 4 transverse break of 4 bones on my back. They were amazing were throughly examining me during my visits and reviewed all elements of my pin and recovery.
