I had a lumbar fusion with Dr Basra and I feel fabulous! I couldn’t swim I couldn’t bend I couldn’t do anything and now I’m 2 months post op and I’m finally back to swimming better than before which is what I love to do. I live an active lifestyle and before the surgery that came to a stop but thanks to Dr Basra I’m back to it all. He is always very kind and compassionate and before he did anything he explained everything to a T! I recommend him to everyone

I went from being crippled for six months and I saw Dr. Basra he said that I needed surgery but he wanted to be prudent with my treatment he suggested injections and they didn't work so going into surgery with Dr Basra I absolutely believed that I would find relief his bedside manner is second to none I owe him my life and the ability to walk again and I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Basra to everyone that has a back condition.

My physical therapist recommended me to Dr. Basra. I found him to be one the most compassionate and informative surgeons that I have ever come across. He took the time answer all of my questions and was very thorough. He was very confident with the knowledge of my condition. I highly recommend him.

Dr Sushil Basra is a very professional courteous doctor and very compassionate. He is a lifesaver and has given me the right treatment plan to relieve my pain. I couldn't walk before I came to see him and although I am still on the road to complete recovery I am now walking thanks to Dr Basra. Their staff is amazing here especially Sue the triage associate. I highly recommend him.

I recently had an Anterior 2 Level Cervical Discectomy and Fusion from Dr. Basra. From the very beginning Dr. Basra was the consummate professional. When I visited with him, I was in unbearable pain in my neck and down my left arm. The pain was so bad, that I felt I would pass out if it got any worse. I had already met with another surgeon who was highly regarded and consulted with 2 others, my brothers that are both spine surgeons. Family is not supposed to operate on family. My brothers knew of Dr. Basra but did further checking as well. All reports came back to them that Dr. Basra was top notch. At no point did Dr. Basra push surgery. However, I knew from all of the surgeons that I had consulted with including Dr. Basra and my brothers, that this was the recommended route to take. He was going on vacation just 5 days after my initial consult with him. He was prepared to do surgery the minute he returned. I was in so much pain that I asked him if he could somehow get me on the schedule before leaving. I could not bare this pain any longer. He did everything he could to accommodate me and operated just 4 days after the initial consult. He prepared me for the worst case scenario and told me that i would likely only be able to tolerate liquids for the first 1-2 weeks following surgery. That the pain post surgery would be very uncomfortable, but tolerable with pain medication. I woke from surgery feeling some pain, but significantly less than what I had been dealing with prior to surgery. A world of a difference. The pain in my neck and arm was gone. Completely! Did I have some post surgery discomfort, sure. But very, very tolerable. I was able to swallow solid food even the next morning for breakfast in the hospital. There is no doubt in my mind that my comfort and recovery from surgery was as a result of the perfect and clean job that he did. I know this because I had spoken to so many other people who had similar procedures. I watched a video on Youtube of another doctor performing the same procedure that Dr. Basra did on me, a few days after surgery. Thank god I watched this after surgery. It was quite a substantial surgery. But knowing that, even more so confirms what a great job that Dr. Basra did. I was referred to Dr. Basra by another surgeon. A hand surgeon. He said he is known to have great hands. He also told me that when another spine surgeon needed the same procedure as I did, he chose Dr. Basra to do it. That is quite an endorsement. I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Basra is a phenomenal surgeon and I would refer him to anyone in a similar situation to what i was in. Jonathan Rovner

I had a cervical spine fusion surgery with Dr Basra!! He is the best I went to him for a second opinion and he was the only one who was so detailed in explaining the whole procedure and recovery process. His bed side manner is superb and he is excellent and now I'm pain free I highly recommend him and the staff is really so kind and sweet.

I’ve had lower back problems for the last 20 years. Recently I had an L4-S1 laminectomy fusion performed by Dr. Basra. Him and his staff are excellent. They are always polite and answer any questions I have. For the first time in a long time I’m getting relief from my lower back pain

Not only is Dr Basra fantastic and at the top of his field , but the staff that surround him is phenomenal and friendly.I had a fusion of my cervical spine. When I woke up and left the hospital I immediately notice the feeling in my hands had gone from not being able to feel much back to the High definition I was use to. I would recommend Dr Basra to my family ,god forbid they ever needed his expertise.
