He explains my condition to clearly. He did a great job doing my colonoscopy and endoscopy. He is friendly and patient. I'd recommend him as a good doctor.

I have been a patient for several years...I have learned to trust his advise, feel he cares..I have learned to speak up..as he is quiet he is very willing to spend the time to explain his instructions..he is busy..and I had been reluctant to waste his time..but I have found that he will give you all the time you need..Office manager is well informed and helpful..

I've been seeing Dr. Syam since 2012. I should not have to call off an entire day of work for an appointment lasting 5 minutes because you never know if he is going to show up or leave you waiting for hours if he shows up at all. I realize he has obligations at the hospital, however, perhaps he should stop taking on patients because this office is clearly overloaded. My appointments are routinely rescheduled, sometimes two times equating to months, and the office staff messes up my prescription refills for maintenance meds, causing me to go without it for at the very least a week at a time on more than one occasion. I am sure Dr. Syam is good at what he does, and have no issues with him personally, but I have a life and a career too and can't accommodate people I am paying for a service to this extent, especially when the office staff is incredibly rude about trying to work with them to find out when are more convenient times to schedule appointments.

Needs to remind himself to talk louder and clearer with patients. He mumbles and doesn't make eye contact. He was punctual the day of the initial appointment and the day of the colonoscopy. He was a much better speaker/listener the day of the colonoscopy. Billing is at an off-site agency; I called and gave my credit info. Later they sent an over-due bill and a note that cards aren't accepted. Paid in local office, yet they informed that my seriously over-due bill will go to a credit agency!

Dr. Syam is an excellent physician- very professional. I have struggled from acid reflux and since seeing the doctor 4 months ago, my symptoms have decreased significantly. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Syam for any and all GI related issues!

I have never felt rushed. He takes time to ask questions and answer mine. He is conservative / cautious prescribing. His Colonoscopies are easy with good immediate feedback.
