Has a terrible bedside manner! Went to another urologist . Such a difference.

Brilliant, caring empathy. Will not prescribe unnecessary medication. I had fun.

Reading some of these other reviews, it is hard to believe they are talking about the same doctor. I had been receiving care for almost 7 years from one of the top doctors worldwide, located in NYC. It should be noted that when trying to get a routine appointment with a top urologist, you often have to wait and you are sometimes bumped due to emergencies. That's just how it is. After moving away from downstate New York almost two years ago, I decided to find a doctor that was closer. I found Dr. Berkeley-Gsegnet and decided to give her a try. I was very impressed that she was well versed with my medical history and it showed that she took the time to look through the very lengthy file. She conducted herself very professionally and spent an unmetered amount of time discussing my care moving forward. All of my questions were answered and I did not feel rushed. I feel in very good hands despite the Doctor having very big shoes to fill replacing my former world renowned Doctor.

Dr. Berkeley is fantastic. I think she is intelligent and caring with serious intentions for the health of a patient. Her office visits are good And she has performed surgery as well on me and I gave her , her hospital and the staff five stars and she’s helping me to live my life bladder cancer free. She is a good person and doctor, it’s the system that is f@#$$&$# up.

07/29/20 My boyfriend had a appointment, and they told me to come with him. She is insensitive to the fact the men are a little bit nervous about talking about the problem down there.She is too rough, doesn't want to explain, has an attitude with her eyes when you ask a question. I find this doctor not to be helpful at all, a rather horrible, person no,skill at all.I dont like her. She is way too serious with an attitude that she knows all. If you go to her, I am so sorry for you. You will have a really bad experience, as she is not a professional.

I never got past the front office staff. Was scheduled for an appointment at 4:15. I accidentally went to the hospital instead of across the street, where her office is. I was frantically looking for her office, which made me 20 minutes late. Office staff cancelled the appointment...without even calling me to see where I was. Ironically, if they had called as I was frantically looking, I wouldn't have been late at all. But seriously, if she isn't going to make an extra 20 minutes for a patient, I am not interested in her anyway.

I always tell people that one of the things I like about living in Westchester is that we get such excellent medical care. But do we? When you are told by your primary care doctor just prior to Thanksgiving that you should see a urologist because you are having an ongoing issue with urinary infections and are in discomfort and are then told that the first time you can see one of the specialists is January and the first appointment for the second specialist is in February, this is NOT good medical care. This is not even adequate care. It is POOR care, unacceptable care. Shame on them and shame on the system that has created this situation. On second thought, based on the other reviews here perhaps it's just as well I was unable to see either of these doctors. But my point as to the length of time I would have had to wait still stands. Totally unacceptable and represents a total lack of caring for the patients.

If you feel the Dr. Berkeley and the office staff's time is more valuable than yours, by all means. This happened - appt with 97 year old mother, office calls and says doctor running late because of intense surgery, come at 3 pm. Arrive there, navigate and wait for parking, only to be told, there must be some mistake. The office has scheduled for next week at 3 p.m. on Halloween. I said, we need another appt. and the response was, she's booked until the end of the year. So I regret trusting that I would have an appt in the first place, and I would be a fool to go back. Be warned.

i called to get a test result that was taken a week earlier and the nurse told me that she had not looked at the results yet...she is not the best doctor i have ever been to

Was not the best. No bedside manner and her nurse was very impatient with me when I called to get results from my tests. They never called me.
