Best Dr I have ever been to. Started having heart problems my Freshmen year of College and went and saw Dr. Tarkin. Not only was he very knowledgeable but he also was easy to talk with and did an amazing job explaining everything to me. Best cardiologist I have been to out of the 5 I saw.

I HAVE A REVIEW ABOUT DR. TARKIN HE'S AN UNCARING INCONCERNING FOOL. HE TOOK CARE OF MY HUSBAND GAVE HIM A PACE MAKER BUT HE ALSO NEEDED A DEFIBULATOR WHICH HE HE MISDIAGOSED . WHAT HE WAS THINKING ABOUT ALUDES MY ENTIRE FAMILY. AFTER 6 WEEKS MY HUSBANDS HEART FLEW UP TO A HIGH READING AND THE PACE MAKER WAS SET TO CONTROL ONLY IF IT WENT TOO LOW. HE'S A MAN WHO THINKS HE IS ENTERTAINING EVERY ONE WITH HIS SO CALLED ATTIUTED AND WIT HE'S AFTER BED SIDE MANNER IS TERRIBLE HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHO I WAS SPEAKING ABOUT AND THEN TRIED TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT AFTER MY DAUGHTER QUESTIONED HIM ABOUT WHY NOT PUTTING IN A DIFIBULATOR IN MY EYES HE MADE MY HUSBAND DIE FOR NOT BEING COMPLETE .

I had a pace maker implanted by Dr. Tarkin and have only positive comments about the experience. I got all my questions answered beforehand. Dr. Tarkin carried on the procedure like an orchestra conductor with everyone on the crew playing their part in perfect tune. I had no pain to speak of and, whatever discomfort i experienced as part of the procedure, i was warned about right before i was to experience it and, in all instances, the discomfort was at a lower level than i expected.

Excellent outgoing personality enables good communication with his patients. Has a habit of explaining everything in detail, and is able to explain things in an easily understood way. He is never hurried and spends a good amount of time with his ;patients. I can (& I have) trust him with my life.
