List of James C. Trapasso's Reviews
Dr. Trapasso is an exceptional doctor (they don't make them like him anymore). He goes the extra mile to make sure his patients get well. He's truly and exceptional doctor.
Dr. Trapasso is one of the few doctors in Cortlandt Manor who truly cares about his patients. He takes extra steps to insure that his patients are getting the proper treatment. He even consults with other doctors until he gets to the bottom of his patient's medical issue. He will sometimes call his patients at home to make sure they are getting better. Not all doctors do this. He is truly an exceptional doctor.
Exceptionally unprofessional. Failed at completing a simple process of filling out a prior authorization with an insurer for a prescription. I met with the team in mid June of 2022 and they only put in the request for my prescription in late August of 2022. Dr Trapasso then got annoyed at me because he spent an hour on the phone with the insurer fixing the fact that he incorrectly wrote the wrong diagnosis. The prescription request eventually failed because they did not get in contact with the insurer in time despite when asked for the final sign off my daily requests and the insurer attempting to contact them. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in a medical environment. Please avoid at all costs.

I was seen by Doctor Trapasso today, and I had a very pleasant experience. He listened to every one of my concerns without rush and was very profesional and kind the entire time. Would definitely keep him as my primary y doctor.
He takes the time and has always been correct in his assessments.
Very disappointed with this office. My fiance was seen as a new patient and was never called with his lab results which indicates that he is diabetic. Five months later through a work physical is when we discovered this information. I called the office and was told that the lab results were sent through the patient portal which he never received. I was also told that it's the patients responsible to check the portal. This answer is unexceptable! We have yet to hear from Dr Trapasso. I would never recommend this doctor!
Has been my doctor for over 10 years. I see him once a year, I feel he listens to what I have to say and will guide me to make the right decision with his advice. I was referred to him by a close friend and doctor by saying he is a humane doctor. This is hard to come by.
Having Dr Trapasso as my family's doctor is very important to me. He is a Great doctor and a tremendous human being. He and his staff are simply the best
Dr. Trapasso is exactly the right balance (for me and my family) between knowledgeable concern and relaxed it'll-be-fine. I generally dislike the medical establishment, but I trust when Trapasso tells me I need to do this or that, and I never feel he is over-eager about diagnosis or prescriptions. He feels well-informed and attentive without being coddling, and he isn't uncomfortable referring patients to a more specialized practitioner when necessary, or suggesting we wait a while or try an interim, less-invasive solution. Hopefully he doesn't retire before I roll over dead.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
