Very positive I found him to be friendly and competent when he did two surgeries ( one on each hand ) years ago and just recently performed a procedure to remove a calcium cyst on my right hand index finger and suturing the incision afterwords. I have great confidence in his skill as a surgeon and felt the whole procedure was a piece of cake. BTW I also am very pleased with his P.A. Lorie who is very personable and knowledgeable and would recommend her to anyone for care.

Excellent surgeon specializing in minimally invasive techniques. My hand is 100% better than prior to surgery and I've only just started the PT. Dr Lanighan was very clear on what he could do to help me and what I should expect. He's followed up very thoroughly with my care including an unexpected appointment when I fell on that hand three weeks after surgery. I have already referred several people to him.

Sadly, I have to concur with other poor ratings. Dr. Lanigan never even examined my hand. He did not review the x-ray that I brought with me and I doubt that he even read the extensive paperwork the practice requires prior to a visit. He is straightforward as he mentions in his bio on the practice website, however his manner is combined with a condescending and dismissive attitude. He knew walking into the appointment that he had written my problem off as untreatable by him. Too bad he just didn't cancel the appointment if he knew he could do nothing for me! I would not have wasted my time and money. Very disapointing.
