He's an arrogant, misogynistic, sarcastic, insulting stereotype of a surgeon. Should NOT be allowed to interact with patients. Does anyone ever go back to see him a second time? I wouldn't, and I can't see anyone doing that.

Yes he is the best surgeon for colorectal surgery. Which can be complicated but with him he eases your fears and does the job to perfection. Thanks Dr Popowich

Don’t go here if you have adhesions, he is very uneducated regarding them and he will be extremely rude and condescending. He will gas light you to the moon and back with his very arrogant unnecessary remarks.. “Adhesions don’t cause pain, he could squeeze my insides right now and I wouldn’t feel it” were his exact words. Unfortunate we have people in the medical field that refuse to educate themselves timelessly as things change and new findings and study’s come to light for them. Don’t trust this man or the good “reviews”, believe me.

Dan popowich inserted a device in my body that was supposed to try and help my problems. It did not help and now it is coming apart under my skin and causing me pain and problems. My ankle is swollen and I am having pain and soreness in my lower back and my leg. I am going to have to find a surgeon who can remove this device.

He inserted a device that is now coming apart in my body and causing me further problems. I now need surgery to have this device removed.

Not enough words to say thanks to Dr. Popowich . He did my surgery. Every single thing he explained me so well. His staff is so nice. he came to see me in the emergency room Sunday 7am. Very professional. he had a wonderful bedside manner. I need one more surgery soon thank god I’m in good hands. God bless him. A great doctor! Highly recommend

Dr. Popowich is without a doubt the best colorectal surgeon out there. When seeking the top surgeon for my case, I was referred to Dr. Popowich. I have no regrets. The surgery went perfectly with no complications. His staff, especially Ms. Marge, were excellent. They are quick and responsive when it comes to scheduling and Pre surgery Prep. The doctor and staff were kind and caring even after the surgery
