David M Sachs's Online Review Report Card

My husband and I had and continue to have the highest review possible for Dr. Sachs and the entire staff. We are never rushed when we are with Dr. Sachs. He answers all of our questions and takes time to explain exactly what is wrong. We highly recommend Dr. Sachs and the staff. I have referred friends and relatives to him.

Dr. David Sachs and the wonderful staff at OCLI East Meadow have seen me through a very frightening and difficult journey. I was referred to Dr. Sachs by an optometrist who said he wanted me to see someone who had real expertise in difficult corneal issues. I was frightened and worried. My vision was blurry and rapidly getting worse. I was able to get an appointment almost immediately. The staff was courteous and efficient. A special shout out to Cheyenne who was especially friendly and really put me at ease. Dr. Sachs was comforting, reassuring and patient and professional. The examination was thorough, and Dr Sachs took the time to listen to me, really listen. He also explained in detail what his approach would be in solving my problem. During my course of treatment, he always made himself available. When the office was closed due to COVID, he called to check on me and make sure that everything was still progressing according to plan. At no time did I feel in the dark (literally or figuratively). Whatever questions I had were answered, in detail. It seems now that my vision is restored. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have been cared for so carefully and conscientiously. I just realized that this has been a two-year journey. It was rough going, but Dr. Sachs has seen me through.

The worse. The staff was respectful and professional. So when I met the Dr. I thought he would be the same. WRONG. What a rude arrogant patronizing creep Dr. Sacks is(maybe I misspelled the name. Instead of a u it probably was an a). This doctor chastised me in front of his staff. I wouldn't chastise a child the way he spoke to me. If you wish to be treated with any human decency this is not the Dr.

I brought my father here for eye check up.. Dr. Sachs has the nastiest attitude ever. Rude! I will never bring my father here again!

The staff was professional and respectfull. So I thought when I met the Dr.(D.Sacks) he would be professional. WRONG. He was rude,condescending and disrespectful. He chastised me during the exam in front of his staff. I cut the evaluation short to get way from him. I would never go to him again. I do not recomend him to anyone. I rate this with 1 if it wasn't for the staff I'd give a zero.if you wish to be treated with human dignity he is not the Dr.

Dr. Sachs is very professional and takes the time to explain the problem, his diagnosis and the necessary eye medical procedure or intervention that is necessary and appropriate. His excellent knowledge and skills as a surgeon made me feel comfortable and in good hands.

Dr Sachs very very successfully performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. His demeanor, personality, calm manner and professionalism put me at ease at a time when I was very worried about these surgeries. He is always pleasant when I see him - a true gentleman. I am so happy with the outcome! I can see well for the first time in 10 years. I have 20/20 vision without glasses for the first time in 30 years! How great is that? Thank you, Dr. Sachs.

This doctor was courteous and very thorough. He was very knowledgeable about my disease. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Sachs was kind and very knowledgeable. He did not rush me out the door. He explained my disease thoroughly.

This doctor and office location have very poor customer service I had a scheduled appointment for 430 and was kind enough to advise the office via phone call that I was running five minutes late when I was told if I was not there by 435 the doctor would not see me . That is horrible customer service you’re lucky I even called if you can’t wait five minutes to see your patient what kind of service would you deliver as far as patient care . I work in the medical industry and this seems typical of a Doctor Who cares less about patient care and more about his paycheck ! Totally ridiculous and you just lost a patient and a whole family of patients as my whole family goes there goodbye !!!!
