Front desk staff is very pleasant. My main gripe is the lack of communication from the doctor. I arrived ten minutes earlier than my daughters, scheduled appt. It took 15 minutes to check in, as they were training a new person. No big deal...we were not in a rush. Once speaking with the doctor about concerns I have with my daughter, the doctor puts a solution in her eyes. The receptionist walked over to the room and informed the doctor that her patients have arrived, and seated them in the room next to ours. We speak briefly as she gathered some information, quick eye sight check and then tells my daughter that she will be back. No word as to how long or if we are waiting for anything in particular to occur-just that she will be back. She is now assisting her other patients while we wait in the other room. 15 minutes go by before I decide to get up and ask the doctor if we’re waiting for anything. She replies with, “yes, she’s dilating”. Umm ok. Would have been nice to know that. I go back to the room and wait another 10 minutes before the doctor finally comes back and finishes examining my daughter. A simple conversation letting me know what to expect, would have been all I needed. The perception was that she left us to assist her existing patients. I have no problem with multi tasking but inform your patients so they’re not twiddling their thumbs, getting more and more aggravated, due to lack of communication. That was our first and our last appointment at this office.

Excellent doctor and always pleasant. My husband had cataract surgery and he has 20-20 vision now w/o any lenses.

Recently had two cataract surgeries with multi focal lens implants. Impressed by Dr. Lessing’s care, concern and skill. Wonderful results!

Doctors office was filthy. Dusty furniture, end table had cobwebs with insects. Window in waiting room had a bullet hole & cracked glass. Wallpaper peeling with dust. You could smell the dust see the dust. Bathroom was clean! After sitting and waiting in this for 45mins. I was rushed through a dusty complete eye examination in 15 mins. When my receipt was handed to me it even had food that the receptionist was eating on it. NIce people to deal with, office filthy!s
