Shahriar J. Khalili's Online Review Report Card

I first met this cardiologist in October of last year during a hospitalization. I did my cardio followup with him post discharge and he could never remember who I was. He even did a procedure post discharge and when I went in for followup he asked me who did the procedure. 5 times I saw him 5 times he didn’t know who I was. But at 49 years old he told me to make sure I didn’t get pregnant because of my medical condition. The strangest and most uncaring physician I have ever met.

Dr. Khalili was great. First AND second visits to the office were MAJOR issues with the front desk staff. I may not be returning as I walked out at my 2nd appointment. Doubt I’ll get an apology phone call either. Hope they never go through what I’ve experienced. I was LIVID.

on 7302020 I went for a six month checkup. Our temperatures were taken as we entered. The office was crowded and the check incheck outs were very close to each other. We were able to wait in our car before he saw me.Patients were not social distant from each other. There was no partition for the staff at the front desks. When I mentioned this to the Dr. his response was do not come back for a year. If I am coming in on his recommendation every 6 months then why a year? If I do not need to come in for a year why am I asked to follow up every 6 months. His response seemed flippant.

Excellent diagnostician. Smart and knows what hes talking about. He told me in minutes what no one else could. If youre looking for a warm and fuzzy doc hes not your guy. But if you want optimum care hes your doctor.

Both my parents have been patients of dr. Khalilis. He is always very upfront and honest. He will answer all of your questions. We have never waited very long at the office.the staff is friendly.

My experience with Doctor Khalili and his office is now measured in several years and so I am quite certain that this deserved review of his care is overdue. In my experience the intense workloads of the specialties such as cardiology lends itself to impersonal interactions between Doctor and patient. That being said never once have I felt like a customer not simply a patient but HIS patient. That is a decision made daily and it speaks to Doctor Khalilis distinction.

its always a wait here site says they close at 530 i have always been there as a last patient have always left at 730pm to 8pm is ridiculous.

This doctor talked my father into getting a pacemaker while in Brookhaven hospital got an infection while inserting pacemaker only to have to have it removed heartvworked fine without it after removal. Needless to say my father died from mersa infection because of this procedure Dr Khalil and his associate Dr Mercurio are the most uncaring doctors you will ever meet. Stay away theres much better out there they belong to the Long Island cardiology at 285 Sills Road east Patcghouge ny STAY AWAYB
