I adore this man and cannot say enough about his professionalism, his expertise, and his soft and kind bedside manner. We met with him shortly after I discovered my son would be born with a cleft lip and possibly a cleft palate. My husband and I were so impressed with him (which is no easy feat). He performed a cleft lip repair when my son was about 6 months old, then the palate repair when he was about a year. He is so supportive, kind, and knows what he is doing. I cannot recommend him highly enough. My son still sees him yearly to check on his progress, as he will need future (more minor) surgeries.

I had surgery yesterday preformed by Dr. Dagum, And I need to say, there should be more stars.. He was excellent, on time and the operating room staff involved on my operation was the best I could ask for. If ever I need to return to the OR for another procedure, rest assure I’m only going if I have the same team as yesterday. Dr. Dagum, Thank You so much for your great work, Your assistant Douglas, and the doctors, anesthesiologists. You guys are THE BEST!

Dr. Dagum is known everywhere!!! Everytime I mentioned that he would be fixing my daughters cleft lip, people would immediately tell me how great of a surgeon he is and I couldn't agree even more! He did a wonderful job fixing my babys cleft lip, the scar is hardly noticeable!!! I am so grateful to him and his team! Not only is he the best but he is also very kind and humble. I highly reccomend him!

My 4 year old son Mason has been a patient of Dr Dagum’s since he was a baby. Dr Dagum corrected his bilateral cleft lip in 2015 & then his palate in 2016. The results are amazing!! Not only is Dr Dagum an amazingly skilled surgeon but he’s also a genuinely kind person who you can tell really cares for his patients. I wish there were more doctors out there like Dr Dagum! He’s simply wonderful!!

Dr. Dagum was a literal lifesaver for our seventeen year old son who sustained traumatic injuries to his chest and left arm after being struck by a boat propeller. The propeller severed his brachial plexus, elbow and radial artery. Dr. Dagum performed a lengthy nerve graft surgery to repair the severed brachial plexus and has provided amazing continuing care for the last two years. We highly recommend Dr. Dagum and his team! We were very lucky that he was on call the day our son arrived at Stony Brook hospital by helicopter. Not only did he do amazing work, he clearly explained each part of the surgery, what to expect in recovery and has been a constant support to our whole family ever since. We are grateful beyond words to Dr. Dagum and his team.

Dr. Dagum is by far and away one of the best doctors. He is knowledgeable, patient and caring. You can tell that he really loves helping people and does an amazing job. I highly recommend him!!!
