List of Anthony Pesce's Reviews
Dr. Pesce completely ignored my concern of sore throat, cough with bloody sputum. He tested for strep, came negative, and threw me off some cold drops. I requested for a mask simply because I did not want to cough in my class. Instead of handing me a mask, he taught me how to wash hands, as he claimed that this was how to prevent the spreading of viruses. He also concluded my concerns as extreme anxiety, threw me with a diagnosis of anxiety disorder. WHAT A GREAT DOCTOR! AVOID HIM AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.
Dr. Pesce is very kind. He goes over my condition in detail and shows concern.
It's not just Dr.Pesce, it's really the entirety of the student health center on campus that has become laughable. I saw Dr.Pesce for what was a growing bacterical infection with textbook symptoms. I was in pain, yet he prescribed nothing and said to "try some cough drops." They all are reluctant to RX anything, even the most basic of meds. Useless. Thank goodness I commute. People on campus, good luck. Better off at the hospital. And please liver failure from antibiotics? Maybe 1 in 10000.
Dr. Pesce completely ignored my request about my illness, did not even address how to fix it, gave me the most bare-bones answer for me to get out of the office and then told me to leave - all in 5 minutes. His approach is clear - spend as little time with you as possible and give you a cliche answer to your issue unless you come back with more serious problems (which probably doesn't happen very often). Go to your own MD if possible and avoid him.
Awful. He treated me like an annoyance. Wouldn't tell me my results and just kept repeating they were normal and after I kept insisting, told me I had anxiety problems and should go to psychologist! I went to other doctor with the exact same results, was diagnosed and now I am in treatment that has improved my quality of life greatly. I WOULD NEVER go back to Dr. Pesce and I would probably still be sick and miserable if I had believed him.
Dr. Pesce was compassionate, a good listener, and didn't run in and out just to make an appearance like most other doctors. He took the time to answer questions and explain his diagnosis in an understanding manner.
My overall experience was a possitive one. It was the shortest waiting room time I've ever experienced. Dr. Pesce listened to my concerns and showed compassion that some doctors do not seem to have the time for anymore.
I don't care to wait if I know i am going to get good care, this doctor has good bedside manner and knows what he's doing, he's one of the most accurate clinicians
He does not care about his patients. He allowed me to explain my problem and completely shot me down and made my actual issue appear as a non issue.
Dr. Pesce was an abrasive man who get the right diagnosis. I ended up in the hospital with pnumonia and almost died.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
