List of Brian Seho Cho's Reviews
Dr. Cho is a consummate professional. His commendable patience allows you to work through issues step by step, session after session, month after month. He is at once compassionate, analytical, and precise, which is key to striking at the heart of whatever is bothering you. If he ever seems terse, it's because he takes his obligation to help you seriously, even if it means making you feel somewhat (rather gently) uncomfortable. Without Brian, I would be stuck in a cycle of rumination, but now my days unfold openly. That's thanks to a gradually fine-tuned medication regimen and resonant CBT. If I could rate him any higher I would; I'd trust this man with my life.
This dentist goes above and beyond for his patients. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist but he explains everything and shows you pictures of your x-rays. He really takes the time to educate the patient and explain what the issue is. He is very patient and is very interested in the well being of the patients he sees. I drive almost an hour to see him for the visits but its worth the drive.
i love DR Cho!!!! he is best doctor ever i met!!!
hard to make appointment but still great service
I was referred to Dr Cho & my wife setup the appointment for me. I arrived at 2:00p for a 2:00p appointment.

Apparently that was a huge, unforgivable mistake, because the front desk receptionist was very rude to me. She first looked at the clock and said "we asked you to come early, your appointment is at 2:00p and we need you to complete this form".

I completed the form and she said she couldn't verify my insurance, said she would need to call them, as she looked at the clock a second time and said 'this is why we asked you to arrive early'. I showed her my plan documents & virtual insurance card, she took a look and read through the docs for a few minutes and said 'sorry it's not coming up for me in our system, there's no match'. I apologized and asked what the concern was, that I don't have insurance? She said yes, because she couldn't confirm it I'd need to pay out of pocket.

I again apologized and said I guess she would need to call my insurance to verify. She had no intentions to call and verify though, she looked at the clock a third time and said 'you'll have to pay out of pocket, see this is why we ask you to come early so these things don't happen'.

I said 'ok, I'm not paying out of pocket when I've shown you my insurance and plan and you can call to verify'. She said 'your appointment was at 2:00 and now our next appointment is at 2:30p, but you'll have to pay out of pocket.

Next time I won't accept a referral to a dentist that shares a 7eleven parking lot. I honestly have empathy for Dr Cho though, to have front desk staff turning away patients seems like the opposite of what a business owner wants. Good luck!
Receptionist was very clear that they only take cash and high-end insurance. When I confirmed that I had PPO insurance, they were very willing to hear what I needed. When asked about my last x-rays I confirmed that I had a recent implant done and that the office would have x-rays available. That turned into questions about "Oh, you don't have any money left on your insurance then. How much do you have left?", etc.

No thank you. Shady as their parking lot sounds.
The best! Everyone gets individualized care with Dr. Cho and the experience is as painless as any I've ever received from a dentist (for you chickens out there). He/his staff works with you to handle financing and he's an all-around cool guy. I love listening to Dr. Cho talk while I'm getting work done as he is funny, entertaining, and is knowledgeable on so many topics. Sometimes I will go AWOL for a year and when I return he asks me about subjects we last spoke about or continue on with the conversation. Great memory!
I called yesterday to book an appointment. Good luck as their receptionist scoffed and said they were fully booked until October 2022!
Great dentist! Friendly, honest and his staff are lovely too. He doesn't do work that isn't necessary and I appreciate that very much.
This man is a clown. Completely neglected my fathers care. Zero communication, zero empathy, zero results. If you want a doctor who actually communicates, go elsewhere. The patient care coordinator should be paid a LOT more for having to deal with him.
Many years ago I relocated to LA and need a local dentist. Every rec I got was in mid city or Westside. I went on to yelp and at the time Dr. Cho only had a few reviews (more than anyone else though). I gave him a shot. Best decision I ever made. Him and everyone in his office are so good at their jobs. I have sent so many people here, and they keep coming back (even traveling from the west side).

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
