This doctor poo pooed my question about Hormone Replacement Therapy and basically refused to order blood work showing hormone levels when I requested it stating they "change often". Wasn't at all interested in consulting with me about my checking my hormone levels.

Dr. Conway gave me a total hysterectomy in direct opposition to my written consent, gave me no follow up care, and no treatment for the surgical menopause her neglect caused. I am still experiencing the symptoms which are debilitating. When I asked for my consent form she could not "find it." Never go to her.

I was referred to Dr. Conway by my primary physician. I had uterine fibroids, a common condition for women in perimenopause. My complaint was that I had become anemic from heavy bleeding. After two visits and a sonogram, Dr. Conway said, "I could prescribe lupren, which would shock you into menopause, or you can have a hysterectomy." I did NOT want to enter into menopause, so I agreed to the hysterectomy. During my pre-op exam, she gave me a consent form that included option to remove my ovaries. Instead of shrinking the fibroids, she gave me a scar as big as a C section and I had adhesions so painful I never had sex after the surgery. I was supposed to see her for a post-op exam but could not get an appointment (eventually saw her). No advice on HRT. Severe hot flashes still even a decade after the surgery. She "lost my consent form which I annotated with instructions NOT to take my ovaries (I did not have cancer). I trusted her and she betrayed me.

Met Dr Conway for the first time and she immediately made me feel at ease. Would definitely go back to her.

I rate Dr. Conway 5 stars. I've been a patient since 1996. I have absolute confidence in her abilities as a physician and surgeon. I have had 2 significant surgeries. She has far exceeded my expectations in her expertise, care and concern. In my opinion, she represents the best in her field. She is well worth any wait for an appointment.

Actually, Dr. Conway was my obstetrician in 1995, she was fantastic and having her was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend her to any woman in need of the nest care possible. Had I stayed in NY instead of moving to FL, I might have considered going for No 7 baby...wishing her the best!

she is very knowledgeable in her field but it's almost never present for appointments. Difficulty gettinga call back.

She is wonderful, kind, an expert in her field. It is just very very hard to get an appointment which is sad an frustrating. If you dont schedule months & months in advance you dont get to see her, even if she has been your Dr. for 10 years.

Dr. Conway is the best gynecologist. She is knowledgeable, patient & friendly. She always listen to your problems patiently, and try to find the cure for you. She only suggest surgery when it's necessary. Not like other gynecologists, who always tell you to have a hysterectomy just to make money. I had a problem which two gynecologists could not tell me the cause of it, but one visit with Dr. Conway, she already knows the cause. She took care of my problem with one simple same day surgery. She also performed another major surgery on me a few years ago, and she did a great job. I live about a hour from her office and hospital, but I am willing to make the trip to have her treat me. She is really worth it.

If you're lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr Conway, you won't be disappointed. It's a long wait to get an appt. but once you're in you won't care. She's worth the wait. The best way to describe her. She's like a visit with your sister. Caring, concerned and oh so knowledgeable. She helped me through or rather her expertise, got me through a scary time.I was terrified I had a gynecological cancer. If not for her and her suggestions and direction..I don't know what my outcome would have been.She's the best.
