Dr. Chesler is extremely kind, caring and knowledgeable. He takes the time to listen and explain everything in detail. You never feel rushed. He answers all questions thoroughly and clearly truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Chesler for anyone in need of a neurosurgeon!

Emergency brain hemorrhage Dr Chesler was right there and discussed what needed to be done Folllow after surgery was amazing . Very caring and passionate Doctor .Highly recommended

Dr Chesler is an amazing surgeon. He recently performed surgery on my son, and I was impressed with his breath of knowledge and professionalism. He is a straight shooter, right to the point , and a "just the facts sir" kind of doctor, but I think that is what makes him so good. He makes things happen in the hospital too. We are so glad we were able to work with him.

Our child had to undergo immediate surgery from the ER for hydrocephalus, fluid blockage caused by a brain tumor. In an extremely emotional and terrifying situation, Dr. Chesler calmly, compassionately, and honestly explained everything clearly. He took the time to repeat and re-explain anything we didn't understand, and made sure we had an opportunity to process and ask every single question. In the midst of our intense fear, we felt a sense that he was in good hands. We had to leave the hospital while he was in the OR due to Covid. Dr. Chesler called immediately after the surgery to let us know our son was OK. He performed a minimally invasive third ventriculostomy to re-route the brain fluid. The surgery was a success and he healed quickly with just a small incision at the top of his hairline, a thin shaved strip that was barely noticable.
