Diane L Klein Ritter's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Klein- Ritter has been my primary care physician for many years. She is a knowledgeable , caring and concerned doctor. She listens attentively and advises with clarity. I respect her opinion and have chosen to follow her guidance on many occasions. Especially during the pandemic, it is advantageous to have a physician who is available to communicate whether through a patient portal text, office visit or Telehealth appointment. It is with utmost confidence that I thank and applaud Dr. Klein-Ritter!

Dr. Klein-Ritter has been my Dr. for years. I was so impressed by her that, when different Drs. each took different insurances, I chose my new insurance based on only the ones she accepted. I recently had an issue w chest pain. I went in to see her and she checked my sugar and found it to be very high (almost 600). She told me to go to the hospital. I am a cancer survivor and previous conversations with her as well as my cancer led me to always tweak how I eat and I got to the point where I eat so healthy that I made pasta sauce from scratch without sugar and eat it over zucchini spirals instead of even whole wheat pasta. I could not believe my ears to hear my sugar was high let alone that high. I did not want to go to the hospital as I have barely left my house due to the pandemic, but bc I believe in her and I have such respect for her all the years she has been my Dr. I went to the hospital immediately. Not only was my sugar high when she took it, it was high the entire time that I was in the hospital despite my being given insulin in the hospital. What if, since I went in complaining of chest pain, she had not even taken my sugar? What if she had not told me to go directly to the hospital? What if I had not immediately gone to the hospital? Dr. Klein-Ritter will always be my Dr...for all I know she could have just saved my life.

Dr.Klein Ritter is thorough, personable and takes all the time necessary to explain everything and answer all questions. She rarely runs late but if she does this is the reason why. She stays up to date with your medical situation, regardless of do for involved or hospital affiliation. Very very happy with her as my primary medical provider.

Extremely pleased with the care I have received from Dr Klein-Ritter as my primary care physician. Attentive to detail, spends time with me during my appointment, doesn't rush out the door. Highly recommend.

Dr. Diane Klein-Ritter has been my trusted physician for at least 15 years?I selected her for her education and affiliation with Stony Brook University Hospital. Her professional and people skills are unparalleled as are her diagnosis and referrals. The office staff runs a tight ship and keep the patients moving along in a pleasant and proficient manner?if you are late your appointment it may be rescheduled to accommodate the patients who arrive early [or at least on time]. Best doctor ever!
