Dr. Darras, where do I begin?? There aren’t ENOUGH amazing things that I could say about this man! I feel like I owe my life to him! He is kind, sweet, professional, intelligent, and truly one of the most caring human beings you’ll ever meet! He has been treating a ureteric injury of mine for 2 years now. I’ve been practically a medical mystery. Just had a MAJOR surgery performed by him and his team and he is simply a magician with the scalpel!!! The only reason why I wasn’t scared was because I knew I am in his hands. The surgery went very well. I honestly can’t believe that the universe had put my care into his hands. Overall, he is a phenomenally talented surgeon with a heart of gold.

I am eternally grateful to Dr. Frank Darras. He was and is an amazing surgeon who may well have saved my life last month with my kidney transplant. He was/is an extremely kind and skillful surgeon who has superior interpersonal skills. Thank you for your service. He saved my life with a kidney transplant. He is as the best transplant surgeon and provides all my follow up care. His staff and the nurses at Stonybrook are exceptional. He recently did a kidney transplant on a famous Ex Met.
