List of James E Giugliano's Reviews
In desperation, I brought my mother to him several years ago, and was really quite impressed. She had dementia, and his patience and kindness were greatly appreciated by myself and my family. His receptionist however, was a nightmare and that doesn't seem to have changed. Just knowing him from being a local, while searching for a new PCP I saw that he was listed under my insurance, so I called to make an appointment. Now he is strictly Concierge Medicine. In simple terms that means you have to pay $100 per month minimum or something like that to be a patient -like a membership fee- and then he will see you and accept your insurance. It just makes me so sad that someone that I really had great respect for no longer has any interest in treating the people that have lived here forever.
Wonderful, caring Doctor. Takes time to explain the illness and refers to specialists if necessary. Very knowledgeable. Amazing human being.
Dr. Giugliano is the most amazing and knowledgeable doctor ever. He is compassionate, kind, and he spends a lot of time with me before making a diagnosis. Having similar issues Dr. Giugliano can relate to me better than anyone. He takes the time to show me diagrams and anatomical models to better explain my issues. I've been a patient for many years.
Me and my family have been seeing Dr. Giugliano almost for 20 years, he is very knowledgeable and caring physician. He takes his time to explain your health problems and easily available for visits. We recommend him without any hesitations.
Dr. Giugliano is so caring and takes the time I need to understand what I need to do for myself. From still admitting patients into the hospital and then even when I couldn't get in to the office because I was still bedridden at home, he did a house call. Who does that anymore. I highly recommend him for his care and compassion.
My primary care doctor is away and this doctor is covering him. The antibiotics I was proscribed before he left were out of stock so I could only get a partial fill. Rite aid contacted the office and left a message. When I took them I had all the side effects from it and called the office but they were closed. I left a message telling them I was sick. No one called me back. This morning I called and was told I can't see the doctor because he doesn't take my insurance. Absolutely horrible
I have been a patient of Dr. G's since 2005 - I went to his office as a walk-in, complaining of Flu like symptoms and he correctly diagnosed and treated me for Lyme disease - (I never saw a tick bite). Ever since he has been my Primary care doctor and I would not see another. Always takes the time to answer any and all questions and up on all the latest treatments - He's the best!
D.rGiugliano diagnosed my mom, a longtime patient of his, with Alzheimer's disease four years ago. His recommendation regarding the medication provided us with four more years of very good functioning for my mom. She is in assisted living near us in NJ and had been able to enjoy it. His assessment and recommendations made a huge difference for her and her family. Thank you!!!
I was recommended by nurses, my close friends, etc!! FIVE STARS!
A good caring healer and a good person. Spends way more time with his patients than I've experienced with almost all other doctors. Has volunteered with 'Doctor's Without Boarders' along with members of his own family. A good man. A good doctor. I'm fortunate to have him in my community!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
