When she delivered my 3rd child. Scheduled C-section she cut my intestine and left me with a 10cm hernia. She couldn’t get the baby out and panicked. As soon as she cut my intestine the room went quiet and she said, “ I need help” an intern had to come assist to get the baby out. Fortunately for her the law is on the doctors side during delivery. She didn’t even have the decency to apologize for cutting my intestine. Thankfully the intern helped deliver my baby
Dr So is extremely patient, caring understanding and gentle. Made me feel at ease the whole time. I had such a horrible prior experience at another office and was beyond petrified to go to get an annual exam. She is compassionate of your feelings, listens to your concerns and has a positive outlook. I'm beyond thrilled to have met Dr So.
I am incredulous at the negative comments about Dr Oh on Yelp. When my previous gyne retired , I was at a loss but decided to stay with that practice and made an appointment with Dr Oh. I was thrilled to find a new physician who would take the time to listen to what I was saying. She is one of the most caring physicians I gave ever seen.
I have been a patient of Dr. Oh since 2003. She has delivered both of my children and I see her yearly. She is very straight forward and honest with you. She cares about your full body health. Everything in health is connected and it is not lost on her. She wants the absolute best for her patients, this is why I trust her without question. She is always there for me when I call in with questions or concerns. She spends as much time as needed with me during our appointments, I never feel rushed. She is the full package. She will always tell you the truth, not what you want to hear when it comes to your health, as every great doctor should.
I don't want to give her even 1 Star. She was really rude to patients. Even though we have problem non will prefer saying "you have a bad placenta" or " you are lucky u had a healthy baby". What kind of manners is this? What the hell. I myself know I have some problem there s a medical terms to tell. Please I don't prefer her , she scares you.
Dr. So is another great doctor in the Three Village practice. She really spends time answering questions and is very smart and attentive. Wonderful doctor! I have been going to this practice for 5 years and can say enough good things!
Great surgeon! Very professional with great bedside manner. Was very nervous about having my procedure done but Dr.So did an amazing job at putting my worries to ease and letting me know what the procedure consisted of, the recovery, etc. I had a 8cm dermoid ovarian cyst removed from my right ovary done laparoscopically... 4 weeks later fully recovered and feeling better than ever!
this woman was very blunt, she didn't try to connect with my wife as patient at all. Furthermore, she started scaring my wife (who suffers from epilepsy) into thinking that our baby will have birth defects. My wife is a healthy 22-year-old woman, and this doctor started scaring her saying that she must do the Down syndrome test, since there is chance our child to suffer from the disease. She wanted us to make all kinds of expensive tests just because my wife has epilepsy. Our neurologist, assured us months in advance that there are over 3 million people with this disease just in USA alone and they are having healthy babies. And now doctor Oh is trying to convince us the opposite! Another thing she said is that my wife should not eat ANY sweets, NO sugar, not even fruits, that's right she said NO FRUITS! That is the first time I've heard a doctor to recommend avoiding fruits, for no other reason than containing sugar.
I have waited quite a while to leave this review and didn't think I would write it but, since I still think about my experience with Dr. Oh over a year later I want to share with potential patients and hopefully with the Doctor herself why I am writing this. I spent a very long time researching gynecologists in the suburbs, my former was at Northwestern and I no longer live in the city, so I needed one closer to home. After much deliberation I chose this Doctor. I was experiencing several symptoms and was a bit concerned about my health and was anxious to see a Doctor and try to start on the road to health. After waiting 45 minutes, kind of typical I guess, a very harried Doctor entered the room. Within 4 minutes of being in the exam room, not once asking me questions nor allowing me to speak, the Doctor said she had a weight loss program that would help me. She then began to SELL me on the weight loss program. Keep in mind I was at a Gynecologist experiencing gynecological issues. Not once addressing those issues, she told me I need to give up on the fast food and sugary sodas. Well, if she had given me the chance she would have LEARNED that I am a vegan. To my knowledge there are not many fast food vegan restaurants and as far as the sugary sodas she wanted me to stop drinking I haven't had a soda since 2010. HMMMM. I have NEVER felt so judged and dismissed in my life. She took one look at me, saw that I was 20 pounds over weight (I am well aware of the correlation of weight and the effects on my health) and made an instant judgement that my problem was I was driving through McDonalds eating a Big Macs drinking Cokes daily and to right that self inflicted wrong she had the perfect plan to SELL me that would fix everything. It was unequivocally the WORST experience I have ever had with a Doctor. As I have said before I have never felt so JUDGED for carrying extra weight in my life. Until that appointment I was unaware health care practitioner could be so insensitive. So perhaps if you have the optimal BMI and want to have your gynecologist appointment serve as a home shopping network experience, this is the Doctor for you. I prefer a Doctor that listens and doesn't judge, perhaps I'm crazy. By the by, my new Doctor found the problem, and there was one, and in doing so that appalling, offensive, disgusting, 20 extra pounds are gone and I didn't even have to BUY a program to do that. Oh, and I'm still looking for those vegan fast food restaurants!
I was her first patient at three village women's health and I also work for her. She is friendly, comforting and caring. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
