List of Jill Miller Horn's Reviews
Agree that she comes off cold which is odd considering she serves a pediatric population. Our ped fortunately called us with the results as we never heard back from the neurology group. Should we need to go back will defintely ask for another md or outside stonybrook.
I have not yet seen Dr. Miller-Horn: So far my experience with this practice is completely negative. My son had a seizure 2 weeks ago we were seen in the ED and prescribed meds. I was given NO guidance by anyone as to what I am to do. I called the office to speak with a nurse or doctor in regards to my son’s upcoming appointment and reoccurring seizures and was on the phone with a RUDE/UNHELPFUL receptionist who transferred me over to a voicemail that didn’t give me any information on who I was leaving the message for. What is the protocol here for a toddler who is given a new diagnosis? How is it okay to make patients and parents wait months to be instructed on what to do with such an imperative appointment.
Dr Miller-Horn took tremendous time with my daughter after she suffered a severe sports related concussion. She stayed after her office hours to meet with us and treated my daughter with great concern and compassion. Highly recommended!
I couldn't agree more with previous review! Dr. Miller-Horn is a very cold person with regards to pediatric neurological care. She showed us zero compassion or empathy. Her only concern was that her Christian Louboutin pumps matched her Louis Vuitton hand bag that she walked in holding like a prodigal son. She is a joke! We also found an amazing Dr at Cohen's children's hospital. Really shocked that Stony Brook allows this in there hospital.
She has been very successful treating both my son and daughter. I feel fortunate to have such a dedicated, hard working Dr. available to us
Amazing and wonderful Doctor. She has been brilliant, diagnosing my daughters rare condition. She is also my son's Doctor. She has been a valuable asset to our family. We feel fortunate to have access to such a great Doctor.
Dr. Miller-Horn is not the dr you want to turn to for pediatric care. She has no compassion or empathy and is only concerned with treating seizures if the diagnosis is Epilepsy. She is not concerned in the least about the side effects of epilepsy medications and ramifications of living a life with epilepsy for a child or their parents. Find a different dr for pediatrics. Cohen's Dr's and hospital is a much better choice than the Stony Brook group.
Dr Miller-Horn is without exception the best and most thorough neurologist we have worked with. She is our touchstone when we face medical crises. She has become our primary resource for disease management, and we are grateful every day that she is part of our wellness team.
Always a great experience!
My clinic appointment with Dr. Miller-Horn was all that I was hoping for and more. She handled my autistic son perfectly - which is not always easy during doctor's appointments. She made excellent suggestions for additional medical tests that were appropriate and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Miller-Horn!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
