This man saved not only my leg, but my life. I was suffering from a bone infection I had gotten after my other Dr. misdiagnosed my broken leg as being healed when I was a child. I had osteomyelitis and was walking around on a jagged broken leg for a year at age 9 when the pain became unbearable and I felt the bones shift, I got a second opinion. He was recommended by a close friend who’s leg Kottmeier had also saved. So, for this, I am forever thankful for Dr. Kottmeier and his wonderful nurse at the time, Corrine.. and the care they he put into taking care of me and my bones. It was a blessing to be treated by someone competent and because of him I still have my leg. Thankfully I can still walk, run, jump.. but most importantly I’m alive today, because I went to him for help and didn’t return to the original doctor who treated me. Thank you, for saving me.

I first met Dr. Kottmeier back in 2009 when my husband was involved In a head on collision which crushed his left foot & dislodged his Talus Bone. He performed 5 surgeries. That ultimately saved my husband's foot and allowed him to walk unassisted. I also have had knee surgery by him and I referred my brother in law as well. I could not recommend another orthopedic surgeon as highly as I do Dr. Kottmeier, he is simply the best!

Dr Kottmeier, Kristen, Kelly and his entire staff are wonderful and always get back to you quickly. Everyone is so friendly and helpful here. My family will not trust anyone but Dr Kottmeier

Dr. Kottmeier could not have been any nicer. He was reassuring and very thorough in his exam. Also the staff was very accommodating and very efficient. I would recommend him highly.

Excellent experience. I drove from Long Beach, a one hour trip, and it was worth it. The staff was attentive and caring as well as the doctor. Clear concise process and follow-up requirements. I look forward to my treatment process if this is a sign for future care.

Absolute top notch; remarkably skilled and extremely professional physician. Took excellent care of my husband after his accident that resulted in several broken bones that required surgery. Had the utmost confidence that he was in the best hands under Dr. Kottmeier’s talent & direction.

5 yrs ago I was in a tragic accident sustaining many compound fractures and shattered left femur. I was air lifted to my “Hero” Dr Kottmeier. I was in critical condition and stabilized for Dr Kottmeier to do major surgery on my left femur and place titanium rods from my left femur to my ankle .He also did knee surgery ( 2 other perfect surgery's).He is a wonderful, intelligent gifted trauma surgeon. I went from a wheelchair to a walker and cane to walking without a limp. I thank God all the time for this great surgeon who came into my life. I highly recommend Dr Kottmeier . He’s the best!!!!
