My experience with Dr. Basilice and his entire practice has been outstanding. I came to him looking for a second opinion on cataracts, and was so impressed I changed physicians and so happy I did. The surgery and all follow up care been more than expected and so very superior to experiences expressed by friends who use different offices. I have already referred other friends to this office and would have no hesitation sending everyone I know to Dr. Basilice!

Dr. Vincent Basilice (The Ophthalmic Center, toceye.com) removed my cataract lenses in both eyes, corrected my astigmatism and inserted two Trifocal lenses. Cataracts prevented me from being able to read highway signs or the dashboard of my car, glasses could no longer correct my vision. Following the surgery I was quickly able to see better than I had in over a decade. The Pan Optic lenses are amazing, everything in my entire field of view is in focus! Since both eyes work together with the same lenses, I have no issues with depth perception or balance. I was able to continue my active lifestyle with much better vision. I do see artifacts in the form of concentric circles around bright points of light when set against a dark background, ie: headlights at night, but it’s not a distraction and minor compared to the miracle of no longer needing glasses and having my eyesight back! Cataracts prevented me from being able to read highway signs or the dashboard of my car, glasses could no longer correct my vision. Following the surgery I was quickly able to see better than I had in over a decade. The PanOptic lenses are amazing, everything in my entire field of view is in focus! Since both eyes work together with the same lenses, I have no issues with depth perception or balance. I was able to continue my active lifestyle with much better vision.
