The two women at the front counter and the doctor were EXTREMELY friendly. However, I had a bad experience. I am not angry but I am extremely disappointed in what must've initially been an oversight. I drove to pick up my "at home" sleep study kit. When it came to put it on that night at home, I noticed some brown gunk on the wires. I wasn't sure what it was at first so I cleaned it off with a paper towel and noticed it was ALL OVER the wires (maybe a cleaning solution? I thought initially). I then pulled out the chest band and it reeked of cigarette smoke. Then I realized that the brown gunk was something far worse and that this unit was not cleaned prior to distributing to me. I packed it back up and returned it the next day. I walked in and wanted to express my concern, but also do it politely, and out of ear shot of other patients in the waiting room. So, I asked to speak to someone in the back. Both of the friendly women at the front directed me to a nurse down the hall who came up to talk to me. I explained to her what had happened and she dismissed every concern and just repeated that they clean the devices every time. Okay, I understand that you say you do, but I was trying to say that this one was overlooked. She then said the brown on the wires is from wear and tear. I know the difference between gunk that comes off with a paper towel and stretch marks on the coating of the wires. She wasn't mean but totally dismissed and invalidated my concerns as if I didn't understand what was happening. I told her that we can clearly smell the chest band if we take it out and she just repeated that they clean the device and did not look at it any further. Not one time did she apologize for the mishap or show any concern. She must not have understood that I cleaned off the wires prior to realizing what it was. If I were working there, I would feel embarrassed for such a gaffe and quickly apologize and try to fix the situation. Instead, she refused to acknowledge any of it, including the smoke saturated chest band. At that point I made up my mind that I was no longer coming back. It was an extremely disgusting, unhygienic mishap that unfortunately happened but I was dismissed as if I had no idea what I was talking about. I walked out and not one person followed up to figure out what happened (over a week ago). I am assuming she did not care to relay what happened to anyone else in the office.

Great people. Everybody who worked here from the receptionist to the doctor was very polite and friendly to me. I would recommend them to anyone.
