List of Kathryn Palomino's Reviews
Our six year old needed surgery over the summer and Dr. Palomino was her surgeon. While the doctor was excellent, the office was not. Expect any follow up appointments to take 2=3 hours or more because of waiting. Calling to make or change an appointment was a multi-day process because it takes so long to get an actual person on the phone- we often had to give up and try again another day. If you DO get through to an operator, expect them to be rude, transfer you to the receptionist for your doc, then be even more rude when no one answers there and your call bounces back to the operator. It's a shame that the office is this poorly run because the doctor and nurses were all wonderful; but there is no respect for patients' time.
Worst experience with this office! The dr is great but when with you but everything else was horrible. We have been here for multiple appointments at multiple different times throughout the day and we always wait forever. Usually we wait about 3 hours to see the dr, the last appointment was 4.5 hours. We closed the office and we were the only one in the parking lot when we left after 6pm. I lost my mind on the dr after the 4.5 hour wait as my child was crying, hungry, tried, bored, etc. I was told by her to schedule on a Wednesday morning at 10am for my next appointment because that is her first appointment of the day and there wouldnt be a wait. Well here I am today on a Wednesday at 11am still waiting to see the dr. This is ridiculous!
she took the time to explain the issues and we left with a good plan that was understood by all
She has always explained everything in detail, answered all our questions, and made us feel comfortable. The surgery was successful and her staff is helpful. We traveled a distance to get there and they were accommodating in poor weather, even got us a stay at the McDonald house!

She just did my daughters surgery on Monday 12/9 and she is by far the most outstanding physician we have ever met. My daughter loved her and so did we. She is compassionate, and takes time with her patients and sits and talks about whatever.. we loved her and would highly recommended her to anyone.
Took two months to get an appointment for my one year old son. Rearranged our work schedules to get him to the appointment and when we arrived the receptionist said "oh the Dr. always runs 1 to 2 hours behind" WHAT?!?! They couldn't have told us that a head of time when they called to confirm the appointment or called us this morning to give us a heads up?! I find that so disrespectful and inconsiderate. I was hesitant from the beginning going to Dr. Palomino because of the bad reviews but wanted to judge myself. I just tried calling to speak with them and it's impossible to get through to a person at the office. It asks to leave a voicemail and the call will be returned within TWO DAYS!!
I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Palomino. She did my scoliosis surgery 8 years ago. She’s very comfortable to talk to. I never had any isues with her. I highly recommend her. She’s great!!
No complaints w/Dr palamino herself she's great, wait time is bad...I drive from out of town and I can plan on spending a day between travel time and wait times...
Had surgery scheduled for my one year old. Left SEVERAL messages stating that I had questions in regards to said surgery. Never got a call back. Even had to go for pre testing today where she ordered a urine sample. I'm sorry, but I can't tell a one year old to go pee in a cup. Not only will the office not return a phone call, but I couldn't even make an appointment to SEE her and ask the questions because I had been ignored for too long to get in before the surgery. Now going to Rochester.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
