Dr. Matthew Sullivan is outstanding in his field of Orthopedic Surgery. He came highly rated by a Dr. when I fell & needed hip surgery. He is amazing, from what I could gather after my surgery one early evening, he would be operating as long as it took that night, to operate on ER patients. My first visit, after X-rays, showed how really good he is. No problems and healing nicely. Upstate is very good at knowing who is the very best, they are lucky to have him. Thank You Dr. Sullivan.

Dr. Sullivan repaired a fracture to my left femur in August 2017. I now need a screw removed from that surgery and will be making an appointment with him very soon. He’s extremely kind and compassionate. In my follow up care he always took all the time I needed to have any questions or concerns answered. He was very comfortable to discuss the special issues that confront me as I am severely physically disabled with MS. As a retired ICU/RN I would recommend Dr. Sullivan to any family member or friends that require his orthopedic expertise.
