List of Nicholas J. Augustine's Reviews
The process to become a new patient was simple and the team was able to schedule me an appointment very quickly. Dr. Augustine listened to my experiences, prescribed appropriate medication to alleviate symptoms and discussed treatment plan for the underlying condition. Everything is always explained well and I do not feel like the appointment is rushed. This practice takes care of you.
I have been a patient of Dr Augustines for over 30 years. The care has always been exceptional. Recently he stayed after hours to personally run thorough testing to confirm I was not having a heart episode. He has always gone above and beyond to adminster excellent service.
I think he is nice and pleasant as a person, but as a doctor, he needs to step up his game. He doesn't make a connection between your visits/symptoms. Every time I go there I need to explain my whole history of symptoms and treatments all over again, and very often suggest what I think should be done next myself. He attempted to prescribe me a serious medication (with lots of side effects and risks) without doing proper procedures to diagnose me. None of the conditions I came in with were treated. Unfortunately can't give him a good review. Waste of time, money and hope to be treated.
Always excellent
In one weekend I went to three different hospital's and 2 urgent cares with a killer headache. I was given pain killers told I had muscle spasms and or a sinus infection but I knew it wasn't that. I found Dr. Nick's card in the paperwork I was given at one of the hospital's and as a last resort I called and was seen within two hours. Dr.Nick literally saved my life!! He didn't give up on me like all the others and worked tirelessly to find out why I had this killer headache, as his nurse Tammy fed me her kids snacks she had in her bag because I was starving and had been there a few hours. Dr. Nick found a tear in my vertebral artery and had me rushed to Crouse where Dr. Padalino repaired it. I would not be here today if it wasn't for Dr. Nick he is the best Doctor I have ever had!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
