I’ve been seeing Dr Christiano for many years.He is always personable and professional. I feel he listens to my concerns and have no complaints about him or his staff whatsoever!

Dr. Christiano speaks over you. Therefore, he is not able to truly listen to your concern. He is condescending. If you try to reiterate your reason for being there he has one hand on the door while voicing a quick, demeaning response that is meant to be his solution. Stay away from this doctor and certainly don't send anyone you care about his way. I understand the pandemic has been stressful but his lack of compassion goes beyond someone that is spent or in need of a vacation. That being said, there are many other wonderful physicians at CNY Family Care.

Dr Christiano wrongly diagnosed a dear friend of mine with dementia. We requested a referral to a specialist, which he reluctantly granted, telling us he didn’t see much point in it. After an MRI by a gerontologist, it was discovered that my friend had had strokes which was what caused her memory loss.

I am incredibly impressed with Dr Christiano’s ability to hear my spoken and (often unspoken) complaints. You may have to wait to see him, but once you’re in the exam room, he is there 200% there - not rushing to see the next patient. Also, he & his staff communicate VERY well, making me think he is a kind boss as well. So grateful I got the referral when my dr abruptly left town.

He needs to retire. Doesn't show any interest in a patient's problems or concerns, doesn't seem to care and overtalks the patient

When I first went to him for a routine physical, he informed me that I was tested very high in cholesterol, and he would not just give me a pill to cure the situation. He had me stop the high fat foods, and to get a decent diet, and return to him after that. I did and then he did prescribe two statins, brought me back to normal. That was several years ago, and he has virtually saved my life through his skill, and the proper use of modern medicine-----a true Doctor, and life saver. Thanks Doctor!!!

Listen to all my concerns. Made sure I left his office with no questions referred me to a urologist for a second opinion for my first urologist. Then asked again to make sure I had no questions before moving on to his next appointment.

If you are an older patient, and particularly a woman, Do Not see this doctor. He has no patience with the limitations older women have when performing vaginal exam...he actually twisted the blasted speculum while it was inside me!!! Talk about painful! He got very angry when I decided to choose Crouse doctors as my cardiologist and hip replacement doctors. He is just getting too old and focused on making money to actually care about his patients.

I have been a Pt. Of this practice for years, Dr Christiano is the best Dr ever. He genuinely cares and takes into consideration my life experiences. He always takes the time to chat, I never feel rushed or like he isn't listening to me. His support Staff are all amazing as well!!

Dr. Christiano, has been our family doctor for over 30 years. He has treated four generations of my family, parents, spouse, children and grandchildren. You do not find such a compassionate, understanding doctor very often, in this day and time. We are blessed to have him as our physician!
