List of Ross R. Moquin's Reviews
Had a blown out L4/L5 disc. With the profession I am in, I needed to have surgery immediately due to the injury limiting me from doing any part of my job. Moquin explained everything spot on and was straight forward with how things were going to be. The surgery was quick and am recovering very well with little to moderate pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Moquin to anyone that needs someone trustworthy when it comes to their back.
Dr Moquin did a emergency decompression surgery due to CES at age 24. The guy literally saved my quality of life and i’m forever thankful for his knowledge and professionalism. 11 years post op with only occasional pain due to a herniated L5. A+ MD would still see if I didn’t relocate out of state.
Worst neurosurgeon ever. He is rude and pompous and that is his better qualities. More importantly he is a negligent doctor who puts patients health and wellness in peril. Failure to order updated scans that were necessary and that would have shown him that I was now experiencing spinal cord compression is inexcusable. Don’t waste your time or money.
This is the worst dr never going back i went because of a lower back pain and send me to pt without an xray how a dr gonna send somebody to pt without knowing was wrong with the back it can be a diferrent stuff . I do not recommend dr ross moquin plus he is a rude person never going back if they give you this dr please change it. Plus i check the pills he prescribe me and they are for treat epilepsy and shingles .

I would not let this man do surgery on my dog!!!. He is a pompous..rude.. and way to full of himself.. He displayed discrimination because of a medication I am taking for pain... and said he wouldn't touch me when I am on the "stuff" .. as if I'm a drug addict. He never examined me ... after waiting for the appointment all he said was to go to PT and get off the stuff ... . I don't recommend that anyone go to see this man. I'm currently looking into if he has the right to refuse care because of a medication.... At the very least I am writing a very detailed letter explaining the whole situation to Mr Seth kronenberg. this has gone much farther than it should have. After my Dr advocated for me Mr moqin has attacked my doctor's integrity...For no other reason than to show that he is the top dog.... Stay away from this office and this man... Although I have to say that the front office staff were wonderful!!!!
I would prefer to give dr moquin a minus Star . He is qick to dismiss anyone who doesn't meet his seal of approval. He will not do surgery on anyone who is taking pain medicine .. I thought the idea was to have surgery to fix the problem that Is causing you to have agonizing pain. .. therefore eliminating the need for the medication.... He walked in my room ..never even examined me!!! and said go to PT and get off the stuff .. like I was some drug addict... I was crushed to be treated like that ... I called my own Dr and told him what had happened .. My Dr called his office to advocate for me... and then Dr moquin made it a personal thing like a young school boy slinging unwarranted insults at him .. letting it be known that he's top dog... Stay away from this man there's got to be something wrong with him to behave in such a way.... especially when I have seen so many other reviews saying the same thing.
CAUTION: This physician is involved in a lawsuit by Up State NY hospital. This doctor did a very aggressive Th 6 retro-plural thoracic corpectomy on me in 1998. He was a Navy Doctor in DC.He did this huge thoracic corpectomy and would NOT give me pain medication!!! I fired him! I see others posting that they did not get pain medication.
I could barely move and was passing out from pinched nerves whenever I tried to look up. Dr.Moquin is my hero in life for allowing me to be able to continue working and leading a normal life
He did a left retro plural thoracic corpectomy Th 6 in 1998. He did NOT give me pain medication while I was in the hospital. I fired him. I see others who say they didn’t get pain meds after surgery. LAWSUIT!! A physician at the Up State Hospital in NY is suing this hospital and doctor. He is being sued by another doctor for malpractice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
