I'm sure the surgeons and doctor are fine. If you can get if contact with them. The secretary are worst I have seen. They don't follow up with calls, they don't sent prescription out in a timely manner, just shuffle you around if you have questions your doctors, and overall not helpful. If can your looking for help go to another doctor.

0 stars - About a year ago we had an appointment for our son, we called (multiple times) no answer, we left a message we weren’t able to make it provided name and number to return phone call to reschedule. We also tried again a couple days after nothing.. a year later no call back (not like we’d go to them anyways if they did) I’m sure there are better care options out there!

Dr. VanValkenburg is amazing. I'm very grateful I was able to see him. He took very good care of me and my broken baby toe. It is healing perfectly and I have him to thank. I would recommend upstate orthopedics anytime over SOS.

Horrible horrible people skills from the time they answer the phone to the time you are seen. It's rush rush rush insurance cards! Next! Sad that people are treated as if money is the patients value. And I've seen nurses and doctors alike at this location. Upstate has dominated the medical field in most of syracuse and you must travel much further to experience better treatment and second options and or opinions depending on your insurance!! When did the human race become so disgusting!! God help us all!!

They never set my left wrist right .. it looks like something you would see in a cartoon.. I can't move it or make a fist .. I'm going to see my lawyer.

Dr Emil Azer wrenched my knee sideways beyond what it could absorb and caused permanent injury in the soft tissue around my knee basically handicapping me. He had no reason to do this as he had a negative mri and x Ray in front of him. In deceit he did not include his action on his medical report. Prior to this his conduct toward me was rude and non caring. Upon complaints to their patient relations they used their lawyers to try to keep me quiet and simply go away.1st of all Azer seriously injured me and what he did to me was nothing short of a physical assault, a criminal act. My experience shows he should not be allowed to treat patients.2nd Upstate Bone and Joint does not care about the health of their patients and if they injure you in treatment you’re own to fix the problem they cause and suffer through it.

Terrible staff. Nurses are incredibly rude and dismissive. Do yourself a favor and go to S.O.S!

My whole family have been going here for years,especially my wife. This whole facility has been by far one of the absolute best! They are vary experienced in every field they work in always professional they get the job done and done right. Over the past few years my wife alone has had to have a full hip replacement and 2 back surgeries just to name a few and I can tell.you first hand jthey did a great job. I recommend this place to everyone I talk to. They've been great with every member of my family..thank you upstate orthopedics

My first visit with Dr VavValkenburg was a good experience. The service from the whole team was professional and efficient.

I see Dt Vanvalkenberg and Physicians Assistant Daniel De Martini for a broken bone in my foot, and also, after care for both feet due to bone infections from last year.This review is for Physicians Assistant Daniel DiMartini. Since I have a previous review on here for Dr Vanvalkneberg.Physicians Assistant Daniel DiMartini is EXCELLENT!!! Very very thorough. Makes you feel comfortable during the whole process. by comfortable I mean his display of communication with the patient (myself). His expertise in the area of feet ankle medicine.And his instructions on what you should be doing at home for your care while home.I am very pleased with the care I received from him and the whole team!
