MIkhail Itingen's Online Review Report Card

Took my husband to see Dr. Itingen in regards to a fracture and continued pain in his big toe that occurred 5 months prior. He was referred by our Orthopedic to see if surgery was needed. Right from the beginning he was rude and made comments that it was only a toe, he should’ve gone back to work by now. To us the toe is still swollen and purple with pain, but to him it was all healed, with minimal swelling and no discoloration. He told my husband to put on steel toe shoes and live with it. He didn’t want to hear anything my husband said cutting off all of his responses and told him to just answer with a yes or no. When reading the MRI report he read it as “blah, blah, blah.” Finally towards the end of the appointment when my husband finally explained what he was feeling as the doctor touched his toe, you can see he was annoyed and told my husband he could either go back to work and just live with it, or amputate the toe. Never see this doctor unless absolutely necessary or last resort.

Don’t look any further, Dr. Itingen is a wonderful and caring doctor. Who has helped me with my foot pain and getting my MRI done and figuring out exactly what was wrong. The office is in a very clean facility, with great staff that actually care and go above and beyond. I highly recommend him !

SAFE at 2nd.... I slide into 2nd base during a softball game and ended up breaking my leg. I was seen by Dr. Itingen and my life was forever changed. I was told by proper doctors I wouldn't be able to participate in sports, run, some normal life activities, etc. He assured me I would resume life as usual if I followed his direction. He performed a cartilage building surgery that did more than take the pain away. It gave me back quality of life. I trust him with my health, my family's health, and I will recommend him to everyone I know.

I had seen another surgeon previously and transferred to him as it was closer and more convenient he was very polite and was able to get me scheduled for an MRI so that we can find out what's going on with my shoulder as the other surgeon did not even look at me he did a nice physical examination.

I took my daughter for a second opinion. She has had knee pain for almost 3 years due to a small fracture that required her to be in a knee immobilizer for 3 months. Other doctors could not find anything wrong but kept her on restricted activity. He spoke to my daughter and myself like we were idiots, told us that it was our fault that she still had pain, and that it was in her head and she needed to "SUCK IT UP" He did not exam her knee, he barely even touched her. Told me that I needed to stop babying her and that I am not to take her to more orthopedic doctors. He was rude, arrogant, and extremely disrespectful and insensitive! I don't have a problem with what he had to say, it was how he said it that make him a horrible doctor!

RUDE!!! Dont go see this doctor he has the worse bed side manners. Not only was he rude to me and my son but he yells at his employees. Stay away.

Wondering why Dr. Itingen left the New Windsor, NY orthopedic practice without a word to his patients and no surgeon referral for us to contact. Still having problems from a surgery last summer. Now what do I do? Should have gone with my gut instinct to find a different orthopedist when at the first appointment he got sarcastic about my having gone to the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC for a previous foot surgery. Very disappointed.

Do not allow this Doctor to do no type of surgery on you!
