Ignatius Roger's Online Review Report Card

If I can give this place 0 stars I would! The most horrible experience I’ve had at a doctors office hands down. This office and practice should be shut down. I should have listened to other reviews. First off I had to pay a $110 dollar up front co-pay fee where the lady said something like “you will probably get some money back but we like to charge the most up front”. Anyways I paid that amount for this “doctor” to tell me nothing. I left that office feeling worse than I did coming in. He suggested an MRI when a simple X-ray could suffice. After I got my x-rays done. The doctor never got back to me. I had to call in and the women who work for him speak for him and boy do they hate their life. They’re by far the most rude people I have spoken to. Not only do they withhold information but they simple don’t care for human life. They are there to schedule appointments to take your money and make your life more painful as if you’re not already in physical pain! PLEASE STAY AWAY! I wouldn’t wish anyone to have to experience such a disaster!

This Dr. is an inconsiderate, rude, time wasting quack. He will leave you waiting for hours then give you 2 minutes of his time and be pushy about it. The receptionist staff are unprofessional and inaccurate in the information they gave me and spent almost the entire time I sat waiting playing on their personal cell phones. I waited for over an hour and watched numerous other appointments come and go and when I finally asked what was taking so long the receptionist thought I had been called. DO NOT GO HERE

This place is a complete disaster. Everyone and everything up from the emergency room, the receptionists, the nurses, and Dr's are very rude, and seemingly poorly trained and unknowledgeable about much of what is happening in the hospital. When I call to try and set or reschedule an appointment it is extremely difficult, I rarely reach anyone in a needed department or am transfered to the wrong department entirely. The last time I was in their ER I was there over 4 hours and was not seen, was told my family can't stay with me, and was constantly re questioned by security about why I was there. Today after waiting an hour and a half for a appointment with a specialist and I was never called and when I called to try and reschedule nobody answered, then I was transfered to a wrong department and hung up on. Then I went to the hospital and rescheduled in person and they say I can see him shortly. So I wait over 1 hour and 15 minutes and then go to the bathroom briefly. After that I come back and ask the 5 receptionists playing on their Iphones what is taking so long and one asks me if I'd been seen. The most inefficient unprofessional group of children I have ever seen in a medical environment in my life. So I left without being seen because I have now lost over 4 hours of my work day waiting for New York Presbyterian Hospital to honor a 9:45AM appointment. It is now 12:50p.m. The staff and Dr. Roger's at New York Presbyterian are complete time wasting scumbags.

The most professional, caring doctor I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have known him over 20 years and he is extremely knowledegable. I will never forget how when my sister in law, a cancer patient, caught her hand in a blender he saved her life. An amazing and compassionate man. I have referred hundreds of my clients to him over the years

Had an issue to reopen a case, bottom line, the front office made it seem like it was my fault it could not be reopened. Mean while they are the "professionals" and do this everyday. I was depending on them to know what had to be done. Plus, they are rude and argumentative like other reviews have stated. People, read reviews, they are there for a reason, dont waste your time and money. There is no need to reward this behavior with your business.

Called asking can I walk in I was told doctor has a lot of walk in patients and the desk load is heavy so she not taking anymore patients for doctor I have to wait until July 30 when I will be out of work until thenThat was a while ago I got to see the doctorToday 11/2019 I called and talk to the lady Cathy on the phone to get a appointment she tells me since I missed my last appointments I can’t get anymore very rude he needs to get rid of her very nasty person she is smh the doctor is a very nice person. She tells me she is protecting him how what did I do to him nothing

This doctor is money hungry. To print and release medical report he charges, to fill out paperwork $5 per page. All he is worried about making sure he makes his money. Made a huge conflict with my other physician. Dr. Roger is so money hungry he decided to re order the same test as my other physician to also get paid. His mistake made my carrier deny an EMG test. He must have gotten a pretty nice check from my carrier everything documented was not to my favor in court. He was not concern about me always complaining of pain. He did not speak of alternative medical treatments. He only keep measuring my hand and writing BS. My concerns were not taken into consideration. Waiting room time frame took 1 to 2 hours just to see him for 10 minutes. If you want to wait 2 hours and have a doctor not care of your pain than go waste your time seeing Dr. Ignatius. His staff overall is unprofessional and very very rude. I would not recommend this doctor. He went to medical school not for the passion of healing but more because his money hungry.

very friendly office Staff, very efficient , DR Roger is friendly, concerned and spends time both listening to the Patient as well as explaining to and answering questions. Mild mannered and soft spoken as an MD should be.

Doctor Roger is a great doctor. he is able to answer any question that you have. Therefore; staff are rude all of them , no manners and when you have a question they are sarcastic. I called to request a service and Mary Ellen was rude and sarcastic with her answer. I continue getting services and looking forward for another doctor. L T

The rude lady that answers the phone needs to be let go. I was told my insurance was not accepted so I went back to the doctor that referred me. He informed me that he has sent others with the same insurance to this office and there have been no issues. I have no idea what this lady is still doing there as it seems some of the reviews here are referring to her. My doctor was kind enough to give me a referral to a different doctor when I explained what happened.
