List of Greg Diamond's Reviews
I've been seeing Dr. Diamond for many years now. He is very thorough and is able to make early diagnoses to save your sight. My Mom and daughter go to him also and like him very much.
I've been a patient of Dr. Diamond's for at least 20 years. He, along with the support team of the entire practice are absolutely terrific. It's comforting and reassuring to deal with a compassionate person that possesses a high degree of expertise. Dr. Diamond is extremely thorough in his examinations, and this professionalism is part of the culture that exists within entire Hudson Valley Eye Surgeon team. You'll find nobody better.
We are new to the area, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Diamond because reviews suggested they were the best choice. The office called and confirmed the day before my appointment. I arrived right on time and was told they would have to reschedule, that I should have arrived 15min earlier since I was a new patient, and the Dr.leaves at 5p. None of this was ever mentioned in any of my contact with them. My husband left work early, I got a babysitter for our 2 children. Horrible.
From the beginning, the staff who run the “front end” of the practice facilitated my transition to seeing Dr. Diamond smoothly, competently and cordially. The process was relatively quick and efficient, which is reassuring the first time you go to a new doctor. Dr. Diamond listened patiently as I explained through a brief history why I sought his services today. He evaluated me, and noting that his colleague specialized in a particular issue I was having, made a referral. I plan to use him for my g=regular checkups. This is a highly professional practice, and if first-impressions have merit, I would highly recommend this group.
Dr. Diamond treated me with the utmost care. He examined my eyes and eased my mind after I had experienced my first migraine headache. He checked to make sure that there was no issues with my eyes where they come in contact with the brain.
I've been seeing Dr. Diamond for many years and so have my Mom and daughter. He is very thorough and does take time to answer questions. We all like him very much.
Saw Dr. For emergency situation. He was hard to understand and he told me to go home and wait for the surgeon to call. Luckily I called the surgeon when I got home the surgeon said I was supposed to see him immediately. Not good to have miscommunication when you have a sight threatening injury. Not sure if I have faith in this whole group in Fishkill.
I've been seeing Dr. Diamond for many years and he always answers any questions that I've had to my satisfaction. I've never needed follow up, so only gave 3 stars for that. The rest of my family sees him too and they like him a lot.
I have the seemingly erroneous thought that when you see a specialist you will receive "special" care. Not the case - it reminded me of my early pediatric appts where the doctor would hustle me out of the visit. In that case - when you are visiting every other week or month or whatever, likely there is nothing wrong. But people don't generally go to a specialist unless there is a real problem and there should be some extra care taken. Just my opinion. Dr. Diamond did not really want to discuss treatment options, other possible causes of my condition - really did nothing helpful for me. Will not go back.
He spent 10 minutes, was clearly rushed, not sensitive at all to my concerns. Seemed to just want to get the session done and rush me out. Honestly I was offended, as I had genuine eye problems that needed treatment. I will never return and will not recommend this practice to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
