List of Jeffrey S. Kezis's Reviews
He loves his job and has an easy going great sense of humor. No rushing. He is a good clinician and always helps us. We have been going to him with our children since our kidss were young, about 30 years. I am an RN and I trust Dr. Kezis.
Dr. Kezis should have removed a tumor on my leg. Instead, he cut it in half for a biopsy. The wound didn't heal and then got infected. He told me that I shouldn't bother getting it removed because it would grow back. 2 weeks later, had to have major surgery with a plastic surgeon who was stunned by Dr. Kezis' ineptness. BTW Dr. Kezis billed my insurance company $900 for that biopsy. It took me 1 month to heal from the surgery, an operation I really never needed should Dr. Kezis didn't botch up the biopsy. I only recommend him to those people I detest.
I was a patient of Dr. Kezis for many years. Specifically I went every year for a top to bottom skin cancer check. (I lived about half my life in very sunny climates.) Always did a through job and explained if I had questions about certain spots. Twice in many years took care of 2 areas that could possibly turn malignant. Biopsies showed no issues yet. Would still go yearly except I moved 1000+ miles away.
I was lucky enough to choose Dr Kezis 34 years ago in Poughkeepsie when I had a mole that started to itch. While I was in the office he noticed a spot on my calf that turned out to be melanoma. He removed quite a large chunk and gave me the choice of either a skin graft, or a new "butterfly" procedure where no skin graft was necessary. I chose the latter, even though he told me it would be the first time he performed that procedure. Well here I am 34 years later, hardly a scar, and very lucky.
Seemed anxious and eager to get me relief of a stuborn condition. Talks to me in a way I can understand and listens to me, not just passing me off as though I don't know what I am talking about. Dropped my former DR after I saw how DR Kezis handled my son. Best bedside manner possible. Interested in getting me relief, not just passing me through the system.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
