Dr.Nichols and staff are consistently pleasant, accommodating, and professional.their offices are impeccable and run smoothly. Usually short wait times followed by great patient services.Highly recommend HVES. Just be sure to inquire and obtain your Patient Lens Implant Cards after completing surgeries before leaving ambulatory.

I work directly with Dr. Nichols and the staff at Hudson Valley Eye. He's great surgeon with a caring staff. I'd recommend him to anyone in the area.

After being treated by nichols I gave him a poor rating. Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons contacted me and invited me to come in and discuss the problem. After three calls Debbie hung up on me. Fourth call nichols refused to talk to me! Very unprofessional.

Very thorough and caring. Dr. Nichols performed surgery on both eyes six years ago. It was very successful and his follow up has been excellent. Office is well run.

Had my 1st eye cataract removal and multifocal lens install done by Dr. Nichols. He is polite and made me feel confident going into the surgery. Results are excellent and this doctors experience is reflective in his work. Looking forward to doing my 2nd eye with him next month

I had cataract surgery on my left eye by another doctor, and suffered for six months with pain in that eye plus I could not see well with that left eye. Went to see Dr. Nichols and he knew what to do right away. He removed the lens the first doctor put in and placed a new one in there, the next day most of the pain was gone. One month later we did the right eye. In my opinion he is the best, and the office staff is very friendly and are ready to help.

Dr Nichols is extremely uncaring and uncompassionate doctor. I arrived at 4:15pm for a 4:30pm appointment. I was not called in until almost 5:30pm. Dr Nichols tech did some of the preliminary tests. Dr Nichols had been my doctor for a few years. The tech took out and I pressure pen and was going to check my eye pressure I have extremely sensitive eyes and most recently have been suffering with a corneal erosion healing. The dr refused to see me and never apologized for keeping me waiting

I went to Dr Nichols for my comprehensive eye exam. He had been my Doctor for a couple years. I had a 4:30pm appointment. I didn’t get called in until almost 5:30pm. The tech did some preliminary tests with me then was going to take my eye pressure and took out a eye pressure pen. I have extremely sensitive dry eyes and have had corneal erosion that was still bothering me. I said to the tech who was extremely nice that I can’t do the pen my eyes are too sensitive and will wait for the doctor to do the pressure the way I have been doing it for years. The tech leaves and comes back and says Dr Nichols said if you will not do the pressure with the pen and have her do it he said he will not see me today and I can reschedule with another doctor. Dr Nichols did not even come in to say anything to me...And I had already been waiting a full hour, took time off of work to schedule this appt and waited patiently. Dr Nichols has taken my pressure many times with the machinr and never said a word but today he was running late and just didn’t want to be bothered. Also...the fact that I was having issues with my eyes that I needed to see him about and a corneal erosion still giving me problems...I left speechless and said I will see another doctor then. I have never seen such a cold uncaring unapologetic doctor. I just want to warn other patients to BEWARE
