Great environment from the start, everyone at the desk to the doctors, just everyone there was nice and hard workers. My eye doctor Matthew Schear worked hard with all his staff to do a great job and made sure that I was safe and would have great vision like I do right now. Strongly suggest anyone who wants to get a lasic eye surgery what ever one you prefer PRK or lasic eye surgery to choose doctor Schear ! Great and respectful doctor !

Excellent Lasik experience! Dr. Shear is kind, caring and thorough. He never made me feel rushed and was very reassuring before the surgery and during it. Highly recommend!

Dr. Schear and the team at Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons are incredible. They were all very informative, precise, accommodating, and most importantly, they truly care. I walked in with horrible eyesight that many eye surgeons would have deemed me ineligible for LASIK; however, Dr. Schear did not turn me away. I was put on a successful treatment plan, and retested for eligibility. His attention to detail, accuracy, and drive for perfection was more than I could ever ask for. I am extremely thankful and delighted to say that I am sitting here, three months post-op, with 20/15 vision. Remarkable!

Dr. Schear is extremely knowledgeable, skilled and has great bedside manner. He went over my options and due to my extreme dry eye condition ensured that I get the appropriate treatment before my surgery. I got PRK surgery and was in and out quickly. I am so glad I got corrective surgery but even more glad that Dr. Schear did the procedure - he is wonderful !

Dr.Schear is an amazing Cornea and Cataract specialist.I was fortunate enough to find him as I live in Dutchess County now but originally from Manhattan where I always saw the top specialists. Specialists up here are limited. Dr.Schear is a super doc for Cornea and Cataract issues and he literally save my eyes with his expert treatment and advice.i would recommend Dr Schear 100% to anyone needing a competent professional smart and kind ophthalmologist.

Top Doc.Expert in diagnosing eye issues and has a great warm manner.Doesnt rush and answers your questions.He figured out what my issue was in one visit .Just wish I found him sooner cause I wasted months seeing a whole bunch of other ophthalmologists who were unable to diagnose me.I had to have cornea surgery and everyone else said it was dry eye Dr.Schear is THE BEST. You won't be sorry!!!!

Dr Schear did my father’s cataract surgery. He is professional and has excellent bedside manor. He answered all of my father’s questions. My father is very happy with the results. We highly recommend Dr Schear.
