I’ve been a patient for 6yrs and he led me to believe i could trust him. I referred friends to him all the time. 2yrs from today I still have problems. He operated on me and I still don’t know what he did. He just kept telling me I would get better but I just got worse. I tried to get documents on the surgery C7 T1 and the staff told me there’s no paperwork time after time until they told me I wasn’t allowed in his office anymore. Dr Jacobs did surgery on my back, stimulator implant and surgery on my neck. After every surgery he kept telling me I’ll get better. I’m still in pain and now a second opinion tells me that the surgery on my neck has to be done again. He did not do the surgery correctly. Be very aware as there is so much more to tell. He destroyed my life. I don’t know if I’ll ever get better. Get a 2nd opinion! He’s not the great surgeon he may appear to be.

Had an appointment with Dr Jacobs even made confirmed that it was with Dr Jacobs and when I got to my appointment another Dr saw me.

Thankfully this doctor seems to really care...I saw a surgeon from a Crystal Run who was awful, 4 months later am having worsening debilitating pain in my back .I paid a visit to Dr Jacobs today and am so glad finally being listened to -he ordered an MRI right away. When he entered the room I said” please help me”.. He said he will and his staff was just as kind as he was. Hopefully I will be pain free soon, I have full confidence in him .

Dr. Jacobs is an amazing Neuro Surgeon. I would highly recommend him and Physician Assistant, Nelly, to any in need of neurosurgery. The professionalism and caring is up the outmost. After the surgery I felt really good. The recovery has been very speedy and the scar is unnoticeable. So all in all, the whole experience at New York Neurosurgical has been very impressive.
