List of Dionysia Mamais-Raptis's Reviews
Mamais-Raptis primary concern is profit, not the patient’s best interest. I went for my annual physical which included free CBC, lipid panel (which she neglected to do and I had to go to a laboratory on a separate occasion) and vitamin D. The only blood test I requested was Iron. Without my consent or even asking me if I had done other blood tests at specialists, she went ahead and ordered a laundry list of unnecessary blood tests (A1C, Vitamin B, TSH, Lipase etc.) and repeated tests I had already done at my endocrinologist’s office. Then, I received a huge bill for the tests. I called the office and was told the bill would be taken care of and instead got passed around the office without my issue being resolved. I am a healthy and very fit 49 year old female. Mamais-Raptis may have gained some money but she lost a patient and I would never refer her office to anyone.
Called last week to set an appt for an annual check up. I was told that I would need to make a virtual appt before seeing her in the office. I said ok. My appointment was scheduled for Monday, July 13th @ 2pm. I waited for the doctor to call or leave me a text message to initiate the video conference. Instead, her receptionist called me around 2:10 to ask some questions regarding my insurance and family history. The receptionist shared with me the doctor would call me in a few minutes. 5 minutes passed, 10 minutes, 35 minutes passed and still no call or text. At this point, I called agitated because I had a work meeting @ 3pm. I called the office and addressed my concerns to the ones in charge of scheduling appointments. They said to give them a few minutes and they would reach the doctor. When they returned back to the phone they said that unfortunately they don't have anything for the rest of the day and week. They were available next week. I asked them if they can do anything since
It was so great! Coming from my prior dr. Dr mamais was concern about my health history and took out the time to listen and ask questions.,so she would be able to give me the best healthcare possible.i enjoy going to the dr.mamais.She definitely get 5 stars in my book.
She is a wonderful doctor who listens to what you have to say & talks with you concerning your health & condition. She remembers things that you tell her which makes you feel like you matter & she is very concerned with your health. I would highly recommend her as I have to many of my friends who now go to her also. They agree with me that she knows what she is talking about & truly care.
Love her
Dr. Mamais is an excellent doctor that actually takes the time to listen to her patients and address all of their health concerns (physical health and mental health). I didn't feel rushed through my appointment at all, which is very important. The staff at her office is also very friendly and helpful.
Exc Dr! Compassionate, attentive and cautious!! She is a great listener and takes the time to understand the entire picture not letting any stone go unturned!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
