Excellent.
Had laparoscopic bilateral hernia repair with Dr. Khan at Flushing Hospital early Dec. 2019. His approach is to do the repair between the layers of the abdominal wall. I was going up and down stairs the day of surgery. I had pain the first few days, but thereafter only what I call annoying discomfort for another week or so. Would highly recommend Dr. Khan for hernia repair.
I love doctor khan... he takes he’s time with he’s patients and explain everything.. very friendly and well mannered.. he makes you feel very comfortable.. I also love the receptionist they are very helpful to me.. Nasrin is the best... she helped me a lot with paperwork’s for my job. When ever I needed something they were always there for me. Thank you guys so much for what u do.
The receptionists behind the desk are beyond rude! I cannot stress that enough! I wish I remembered their names(I believe their names are either Nasima? or Farhana?), but their attitudes are so appalling. I have taken my brother there who has a developmental disability (Aspergers). You would think that working at a neurologist's office aka a BRAIN DOCTOR's that they would have the common sense and compassion to be kind to every single patient, since every patient is coming in has a BRAIN issue?? Yes?? Those 2 girls are both Bangladeshi, but speak in Urdu/English. It's disgusting the way they have treated my autistic brother. They are very condescending, blunt, and sarcastic. I do not think that they should EVER work in any type of consumer/customer service sector ever again. Shame on them for making patients and their families feel uncomfortable and guilty. Shame on the doctor for hiring such individuals.
You have to wait 3 hrs at the very least for this guy.... who has zero sense of urgency.
Dr. Khan is a good neurologist but unfortunately due to his unprofessional reception desk people, you end up waiting 3 hours before you are actually seeing him. And I mean 3 hours. The shortest I have waited in his office was 1.45 minutes. At that point, no matter how great the doctor is I just had to take my file somewhere else.
I was highly impressed by Doctor Khans professionalism and extensive knowledge. He took his time out to exam and explain my situation to me. I definitely recommend him.
I was there 20 minutes before my appointment at the Astoria clinic. I wasn't seen by the doctor till 7:30. Asked the receptionist that I've been waiting for more than an hour. To that the receptionist responds everybody waits. Later she's talking to someone over the phone about me in her language thinking I don't understand her. If they know that people have to wait for more than an hour why don't they take appointments accordingly? Very annoyed. I will find another neurologist.
