Office staff is very efficient. Every time I had an appointment I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Doctor Baez is very thorough and listened carefully to my concerns. Definitely recommend this office and this doctor.

In 2014, I requested an endoscopy for my severe gastric symptoms. He denied the procedure and handed me Nexium. His reason for denying an endoscopy? I had one in 2004! Dr. Baez left the practice and referred me to Dr. Meca. Approximately 1 year later, I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on my distal pancreas. I had 25% of my pancreas removed in addition to my spleen. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who wanted a thorough exam.

Juan Baez is a gastroenterology specialist who also operates at Good Samaritan Hospital in W. Islip, NY 11795. Quiet yet reassuring, he has a calming influence while projecting a knowledgeable presence. Taking the needed time, he will undertake to answer all of your questions and concerns. My only reservation is that his office staff may be overburdened since they twice have wrongly given me appointments.

I do not Recommend this Doctor!! I had an Endoscopy and Colonoscopy with him a few weeks ago (more than 3 weeks) and after leaving SEVERAL messages requesting for him to call me back, because I was experiencing pain after the procedure, he didn’t even attempt to call me back till this day!!!! Extremely unprofessional, definitely not scheduling a follow-up with him!!

Educated, caring, concerned and capable is all you need from any doctor. Dr Baez is all that and more. Scheduled a test and he wanted me to make sure I knew all about what to expect and opened the appointment for questions and concerns. I wish I could give him 10 stars.

Dr. Baez has been treating my symptoms for IBC-C. He is easily accessible, caring doctor. Saw me recently on a moments notice. Excellent staff....Though I have not yet resolved all issues, Dr. Baez is the first to test for bacterial overgrowth, lactose intolerance and willing to make suggestions for resolving issues that have plagued me for years. I appreciate the willingness to listen.
