Hired for a stomach hernia didn’t describe the procedure only comment word to the effect would complain if a student doctor operated on you. Such a strange comment I discounted it. Operation day at New York Presbyterian in Flushing I’m in a gown & a guy lookin his early 20’s says I’m performing your operation. Long short operation botched. Found out from GP bate switch goes on a way to give beginners practice. Dr. Du charged the insurance company as if he did the operation. Stay away from this guy.

1st visit for stomach, examined the hernia gave information of the procedure but said word to the effect what would you do if someone else did the operation. I was taken a back foolishly went ahead with operation at teaching hospital. Day of the operation a very young man showed up & I said I'm doing your operation. The hernia came back inside of 3 years. Another surgeon explained the wrong procedure had been done. I subswaurently found out Du charge my insurance company as if he did the operation.

So I was recommended by my dermatologist to go to Dr. Du to remove a very decent size cyst on my head. From the first visit to surgery day and the follow-up I have to give him if I can give him 10 Stars I would! He's a very kind patient doctor and his nurses and staff are so kind as well. They call to make sure you're okay the offices are spotless the hospital he's affiliated with is clean and most ...

I went to Dr. Du for stomach hernia surgery. I told him the stomach hernia was caused by an EKG technician pressing the instrument into my navel. He replied " your not going to want a student doctor performing this surgery" . He did not describe the opertion to me just felt my stomach. I showed for the surgery and what did I get a STUDENT doctor. After the surgery I could feel a small lump in my stomach. At my follow up visit to Dr. Du he said nothing just felt my stomach the hernia reoccurred within 3 years. Subsequently a surgeon told me the hernia operation should have been done with a mesh. Apparently the student doctor made an apparent mistake & Dr. Du failed to inform me it had gone wrong. I would have sued but he was recommended by my GP of 20 years and didn't want to ruin our good working relationship. Subsequently I found out from my insurance company Dr. Du was paid for the operation. Note I was 52 in good general health this operation has a very high success rate.

This doctor has no medical ethics, a very perfunctory attitude, and no patience at all

Went to Du for stomach hernia repair, didn’t describe surgery the only full sentence uttered “your not going to want a student doctor” after I told him hernia was caused by med. tech’s mistake. Signed in at hospital a guy in his early 20’s says to me “I’m doing your surgery” regret of my life I didn’t walk out. Went back to Du for post surgical check he failed to inform me the lump still in my stomach would gradually pulled out completely (over 2 years). Another surgeon told me the young man didn’t use the right procedure probably Du didn’t even talk him through it, but he did bill my insurance company for the surgery.

Dr. Du is a nice and good doctor. His staff in the office are friendly. Overall the services that they provided are good. I will likely recommend Dr. Du to my friends.
