List of Sandip Sheth's Reviews
Dr. Sheth Sandip Has help my elderly father find peace and calm. He has been struggling with paranoia, delusions, agitation for the last 2 years due to dementia. I have struggled to find a doctor that would take my dad's case and have been turned away from many practices. Dr. Sandip was not only attentive to my dad's needs, he provided the best care for my dad, continually checking in to see how he is doing on his new medication and making adjustments along the way to make sure he was adjusting well. My dad is pleasant and grateful again, and able to enjoy his relationship with me and his grandchildren.
I've been seeing him for 2 years. He has readjusted my medications from my last psychiatrist and I've been feeling great, well and healthy with no signs of my bipolar! He's very nice to talk to & really listens. I highly recommend him.

In appreciation. I want to thank Dr. Sheth for helping me have my best life. When I started to see Dr. Sheth a few years ago I needed a lot of help reestablishing my wellness. As a result of trauma, I was in a lot of physical pain and was experiencing other emotional symptoms. Dr. Sheth was patient, and with his expertise, took the time to explore different treatment options. I am truly grateful, because of his excellent care my quality of life has improved 100%.
The longest psychiatrist I’ve ever seen I started seeing Dr. Sandip Sheth in October of 2020. He has been the longest psychiatrist I have seen since being diagnosed in 2013. He truly cares about my wellbeing and is very attentive, making sure to check for side effects of the medication and dosage amounts in my system. It is important to be able to be honest with your health care providers and he is laid back and easy to talk to. We actually laugh together pretty often! If there have been any issues with the pharmacy dispensing my medication, I quick phone call to him rectifies the situation. He always returns your phone call within a short amount of time if you need to leave a message. Also, he still works in a hospital, splitting his time between his private practice. I am getting ready to move out of state but Dr. Sheth is still keeping me on as a patient, doing telehealth appointments, until I can find a doctor in the area. I honestly do not want to change doctors as I am comfortable with the relationship we have,

I honestly do not want to change doctors as I am comfortable with the relationship we have, having had multiple negative experiences with finding a psychiatrist in general, let alone one I feel comfortable with. I would recommend Dr. Sheth to anyone in the Queens, NY area (By the way, I currently live in Nassau county on Long Island but traveled to see him regularly regardless) as he is compassionate, always accepting new clients (Another plus as most psychiatrists with private practices do not accept new patients or will put you on a waitlist for months in the future, with doesn’t help if you need immediate care) and enjoys his work which is clear to see every time you meet with him. Crystal R.
The receptionist failed to mention he sees first time patient in a different location and I took day off from work only to travel to Long Island and be told he's not there. He called to ask why I want to see him and I explained and then had to take another day off from work to see him. He asked me the same question again and I answered the same way about why I was there and he said he doesn't think I need a psychiatrist. Could have said that over the phone but made me miss 2 days of work. Also kept talking on the phone during the session. Very unprofessional.
HORRIBLE I’m only leaving one store because I cannot leave. He is rude, arrogant obnoxious. Did not take one minute 25minutes late for our appointment was texting when I first got there and asked me the same questions that he wrote on the paper which he didn’t even review asked me why I was there and when I started to talk, he cut me off. He was absolutely horrendous.
Dr. Sheth is a great doctor! After suffering anxiety and panic attacks for several years, he knew right away how to help me. I haven't felt this good in long time. He is very professional and cares about his patients. I am very happy he is my doctor.
I waited two hours to see this doctor and the appointment lasted less than five minutes. I spoke to the receptionist on the phone about looking for a psychiatrist to continue medication I had been prescribed for years, and she said that was not a problem and they prescribe that medication. When I went there, I waited 2 hours in a packed lobby to see him. After seeing him, he promptly told me that he does not prescribe that medication unless I have a 'detailed medical history on my person.' I'm deeply unhappy with my appointment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
