List of Syed Husain's Reviews
Dr. Hussain was amazing! Of course I was worried when I first had to see someone, but he was quick to ease any serious concerns. He was extremely thorough when describing my situation and discussing my treatment plan. After my procedure, I was assured that everything went flawlessly. I also made small talk with some of the staff in the unit and everyone only had great things to say about him and how he joked around with the group. Last thing I’ll say, is he had excellent follow up that made me feel secure and confident moving forward. I’d definitely recommend utilizing Dr. Hussain if the situation should arise.
This man ( I won't call him a doctor because he does not deserve that title) was horrifically cruel to my poor elderly mom. He is responsible in part for the suffering she endured during her final days in the hospital. First of all, he did not attend to her needs in a timely way. He and his gastro team waited more than one week to address her issues which was highly egregious because we all know the elderly are not resilient and medical conditions can worsen very quickly. One of his residents came in one day and said she would have a feeding tube inserted in her stomach. However, this Dr Hussain never even bothered to examine my mom. The weekend passed and by then she had not eaten in a week and was getting weaker. Her condition worsened and was no longer a candidate for the feeding tube. Eight days after she was admitted, without having eaten in all that time, Dr Hussain finally graced us with his presence, at the end of the day no less. He said he was going to insert a feeding tube through her mouth. I asked him how he would do that because I know it's a painful procedure. My mom was a very petite woman who weighed 92 pounds at the time. His exact response to me was " well that's why I brought my team here ( 3 interns) to hold her down" and he said this is without any compassion or empathy. I was in a state of shock hearing him speak this way. We had no choice but to proceed and he would not allow me to stay in the room. I stepped out and heard her screams. He never explained anything to her in a kind way. She had dementia and I am sure she felt terrorized being held down like that while he tried to shove a tube down her throat. I realize these are never pleasant circumstances. However, Dr Hussain is a cold heartless doctor who has no compassion for his patients. Losing my mom was bad enough, but being reminded every day of the cruel way in which she died, is destroying me and I will never be able to erase the image of how this doctor treated her during her final days. This doctor is not to be trusted. I don't care what kind of credentials he has. He is a disgrace to his profession.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
