Caring People's Online Review Report Card

This is the worse agency in NYC. Please stay away from them. They don’t have any case. I only got a 14 hrs work time the whole time I applied with them. They also sent me to a dead case . The case they assigned me to was closed. In fact the patient was discharged 2 months ago and they sent me in the case. I wasted my time to go all the way to queens in the middle of the night . It was a night shift. When I called the on call person to tell them about the situation they were nasty and told me they don’t know what to do because a text message was sent to me later in the day a few hours for my shift to start. I didn’t see the text . The right thing for an agency to do is call me after finding out that the case is closed. They didn’t call and I wasted my time .Another thing is I never received my W2 for the few hours I worked for them. I have been calling and reaching out to them for over 2 weeks. They told me they have only one person in charge of payroll and that person works in their NJ office in Clifton. I needed my W2 badly so I went all the way to NJ and I never got hold of the person. They never mailed out my W2. They only mail out junk and crapy newsletters. I keep receiving junk and crapy newsletters from them but not my W2. I am still trying so hard to get my W2 from them. I keep calling them and the director and the people that work in the office take my number and tell me they gonna call me back and never do.If you are an HHA and you are looking for a case please stay away from them as much as you can unless you enjoy receiving junk newsletters and you want to get evicted you can apply with them. You not gonna get any case and you have to struggle to get your own W2 at the end of the year. So do yourself a favor and stay away from this crapy agency.PS: I took my time to write this review to help my fellow HHA certified people. Please stay away from this agency as much as you can.

I can honestly say that caring people is a wonderful agency. I've worked here for over a year and I haven't had any issues. The staff is very respectful and polite. Like soon as I walked in there was something very different about the environment they are very professional. They take notice when you are doing a well job not like other agencies where you do not get any recognition. You can always get in touch with someone for any questions or issues you may experience being in the field or other wise. I would definitely recommend Caring people to anyone.

My mother had passed I call out of my mom death I was on greaves then I get it over I call this agency for a job I could never get a job back so horrible and on kind . It sad to say . Ty

This agency is wack,went to orientation 2019,never got a case,2020 is coming in, I'm DONE, GOOD BYE, I'm not trying to get evicted,thank God I hold on to my other agency,plenty of work,never missed a paycheck. Caring people need to close their door for life, GOOD BYE.

Worst agency ever Doris Vasquez runs her mouth more than trying to find you employment stay away I worked 1 week and quit Martha and Cristina are the best but the old lady in the queens office what the hell is her job a big waste of my time

they been lieing saying they submit people names and never did and I already attend that orientation waist of time

Michele and her team are terrific. They have worked really hard to meet our care needs. Michele is also a great resource for elder care info.

Caring People is the beat agency so far in queens, they have really good cases, and the pay is decent

Having worked for many homecare agencies I can honestly say CP has a special flavor.

As a HHA for this company I have been through plenty of ups and downs but the company is good. They treat the staff fairly and with respect. Some of the clients are tough but that is to be expected with any agency and what I like is they tell you what to expect when you go to the client home. You don't walk into somebodies house and not know what diagnosis they have. I've worked for other agencies and have been given only a name and number and expected to show up and understand what is wrong without someone explaining. I've spoken with someone names Ms. Wade when calling recently and she was a breath of fresh air. It's nice to work for people who want to work with you and see you make it.
