The most adept, brass tacks specialist I have seen to date. Dr. Fishman is a skilled teacher, authoritative, a shrewd, incisive and quick study of cases, people and their conditions. He appears to be an early adapter to new technologies in his field and uses them to explain the medical issues to his patients. I would not trust another clinician after Fishman. He's a master in his field and a truly outstanding doctor.

My mother developed a mass, so she went to an Urgent Care Center, the doctor there terrified her and told her she had cancer. She made an emergency appointment with Dr. Fishman. He was wonderfully kind to her, examined her and told her he was sure it was not cancer. He then immediately had her go to another doctor across the hall who specializes in cysts (though not his field of expertise, he was able to hypothesis the right type of cyst that it was withing only a few minutes). He was efficient, understanding, compassionate and extremely helpful.

I am an RN who was helping my friend find the right doctor. We live far from Dr, Fishman and basically consulted with him to make sure she was receiving the best treatment possible for Ovarian Cancer. He was very knowledgable of all treatments available. He helped explain the disease and treatment options in a way she and her husband could eaily understand. He gave them hope and helped reassure them that they were making the right decisions. He is very down to earth. We all felt much better speaking with him as he answered all of our questions. He is rated as top 1% in his field on the US News Top Doctors list.
