Mario Voloshin's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Voloshin saved my toe with extraordinary care. I came to Dr. Voloshin with a diabetic toe infection that almost went to the bone. With my neuropathy, I did not feel much pain. After surgically debriding the wound, Dr. Voloshin clean and bandaged the toe with strict instructions on care. He then asked me to send him pictures of the toe every few days over the course of weeks while it healed. Had follow up visits every few weeks as well. They do not make doctors like this anymore.

It's incredibly sad that helping people has become a commercial, money making machine. I had a very disappointing and life changing experience with Dr Voloshin DPM, of Brooklyn, NY. He performed a major reconstruction of both my feet in 2020. Since then, I've had a new type of pain that isn't going away, and completely deformed, crooked toes. I went to multiple post op opinions, last being with an orthopedic surgeon from HSS and everyone was horrified with my scars, surgery, and before/after photos. Everyone is asking 'why?' In retrospect, my biggest mistake was not getting a second opinion after seeing Dr Voloshin. I blindly trusted in what Dr Voloshin told me (he is a 'doctor' after all!) . I had no concept of understanding of how surgery should be done and what are the risks associated with it. Dr Voloshin didn't explain the risks to me of the procedures he was going to do, like toe shortening, ironically, he assured me, that I won't even notice, that anything was performed on my toes,that flexibility will back 100% in a few months, that I'm going to thank him forever,"I guess won't forget him now forever". If he would have told me that the toes may not heal properly because of how RISKY the surgery was, that the toes are going to be stiff forever - I would have never agreed to the surgery. My toes and feet were healthier before, I didn't have a hammer toe, but now, only God knows how I can find a specialist who can fix the awful, botched job that Dr Voloshin performed on me. I'm only 37.On top of it all, I am not able to do any sports or physical activity because of the amount of pain I'm in and stiffness of my toes.I'm destroyed. Dr Voloshin should not be operating on anyone and should not be trusted. P.s. I'll attach my photos even it's mentally very hard to post them.

Worst surgeon ever! Wish there was an option to give zero stars. Don't waste your time or money with this guy! If you do, don't say I didn't warn you... he'll lie to you just to make a buck and leave you with huge scars and pain that will never go away. Unfortunately, I put my trust in Mario...what a HUGE mistake!!!!! He has emotional, mentally, and physically destroyed me! Do yourself a favor before you even think about putting yourself under the knife with this guy, always get a second opinion for any type surgery; wether it be cosmetic or not.

Amazing!!! So grateful I found Dr. Voloshin in his Greenpoint location. The office manager, SAMANTHA, treated me like I'd been a patient here forever.Think of the sort of service you'd like to get in a doctor's office. That is the care I've received after only a month or so as a patient of Dr. Voloshin.Dr. VOLOSHIN has got great energy and I became very confident he would help me with my podiatric needs. He did help.A couple of x-rays and a discussion of my symptoms led to an MRI (which they got quickly approved by my insurance). The MRI confirmed Dr. Voloshin's diagnosis.This place just works the way I want a place to work when my well-being is at stake.

Dr Voloshin did a complete toe re-shape operation on my mom. She had a previous surgery 12 yrs ago but it was over-corrected then so by now she could hardly walk and had to use open shoes, as the big toe was sticking out a few inches. Dr V straightened, shortened, repositioned 5 of 5 toes on her right foot. Yes it hurt bad, but a year later, she can use high heals again and runs with grandkids again!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.Dr Mario Voloshin made a huge mistake on my report, I only went to see him for my LEFT ANKLE, and after answering all of his multiple questions for Shoulders, Back, Neck and Psychological THAT ARE NOT RELATED AT ALL with my left ankle, he stated on his MEDICAL REPORT that I did not suffer of those issues that I do and AGAIN, ARE NOT PART OF MY VISIT AT ALL.Dr Voloshin was more interested for me to have him as my WORKERS COMP doctor and when I refuse that because I already have Doctors, he got a little bit upset.At the same time Dr Voloshin was pushing for an operation of my left ankle where he wanted to do a FUSION on my Left Ankle, something that is NOT NECESSARY, NOR RECOMMEND IT by 4 different Doctors that I see after seeing him.When I contacted Dr Voloshin via email in a Professional and Educated manner explaining that he made a serious mistake in his report that can affect my health, HE GOT UPSET and immediately told me to LOOK FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR, now if my case is AS SERIOUS AS HE DESCRIBED IT he is dismissing me at once, so WAS THIS SERIOUS OR HE WANTED TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF ME WITH AN UNNECESSARY OPERATION???Because I refuse to have an operation at this time, because I wanted a 2nd or even a 3rd opinion of my condition, He prescribed Physical Therapy and a Brace. He recommend me to do a brace with a person and when I search for him he had bad reviews, and Physical Therapy, but since he dismissed me as a patient due to his multiple mistakes on his report, I can not do any of those 2 important things until I find another Doctor.At the same time he send me to do Physical Therapy, I had a place but I was unable to start because the Physical Therapy need it for him to send a report but since he dismiss me as a patient leaving me with a serious issue on my own, due to the fact that he refuse to rectify his serious mistake, and again MY HEAD, MY SHOULDER, MY BACK, MY NECK, MY PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH ISSUE ARE NOT PART OF ANY OF HIS TREATMENT, this is a foot doctor and I only went to see him for my LEFT ANKLE, so none of that was related to him at all and is sad that because I did not wanted him as a WORKERS COMP DOCTOR that he made all this serious mistakes, a simple APOLOGY FROM THIS DOCTOR AND A REVIEW OF HIS MISTAKES WILL HAVE BEEN ENOUGH FOR ME, instead the doctor felt OFFENDED when the one that should have been OFFENDED WAS ME because instead of dealing with a serious professional I dealt with a person who does not care for a patient.Dr Voloshin on our email exchange stated that BY LAW HE CAN'T CHANGE THE REPORT, just do an addendum SOMETHING HE DID NOT MAKE AT ALL, another of his lies and I can confirm this due to the fact that on November 11th 2019 he finally email the records that I was waiting thinking that had the addendum and they did not, he simple mail copies of the office intake along with my documents and a copy of the email, but he never wrote any addendum AT ALL.I will never recommend this doctor TO ANYONE and I will file charges against this serious misconduct.

Excellent doctor very informative and takes his time with you. I been 4x in his office and I can highly recommend his expertise.

I have known Dr. Voloshin for many years and always found him to be knowledge, meticulous and very professional. He takes time to explain the minute details of every procedure and I never felt like I was on a clock encroaching on his next appointment. He is always on time and I rarely had to wait more then 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment. Over the yesrs I have followed his practice to many different locations and have always found the officies clean and well equipped. While he is a skilled surgeon, he never recommend a procedure which is more aggressive then necessary, opting out instead for a gradual least invasive approach. I genuinely feel like he is focused on my recovery and not on his billable. Highly recommend.
