Waited an hour and 20 minutes for this pediatrician to see my daughter. It was our first time with him as our routine pediatrician was not in. He walked in, did not know the name of my daughter or if he walked into the correct room. I informed him of my daughter’s name. He did not introduce himself nor apologize for the 1.5 hour wait time. The total encounter with him lasted 10 minutes with no interest in knowing if we had any concerns. When I did questions/concerne up, the responses came off dismissive. He was mainly looking at a computer screen with long moments of silence/pauses. Will not be seeing this doctor again due to his poor bedside manners and overall demeanor.

Bautista stared at a screen and went through a checklist of questions. Understandable protocol for a new patient, but the office was empty and there wasn’t a single attempt to go off script. Then he took a phone call in the middle of the appointment. He Stepped outside the door to speak to his pet sitter with the door open. I truly felt like he had his priorities in order after taking that call…after deferring shots for our 6lb daughters based on questionable family history, it was incredible to hear that if we didn’t get on his program, we would not be welcome at the practice. We have never had an issue with delaying shots at previous pediatric offices, but the tone and arrogance combined with the lack of sympathy for our loss of a child was truly astonishing. With this being said, the woman who worked at the front desk and the staff who made confirmation calls were incredibly professional and kind. The nurse who also took our case history and information seemed to genuinely care for our girls as well. If the doctor doesn’t want to work Saturdays, maybe he should let his partners know that so he doesn’t tarnish the reputation of the practice.

Took care of my niece and nephew, took care of my three children. I’ve been with him for 10 years knows everything about everything has never been wrong once. Amazing Doctor.

Very nasty and arrogant. My grandson saw him on 11/9/22 in the early morning and he was very nasty arrogant rude obnoxious and I would definitely not recommend him to anyone. I will be reporting him as well to the medical boards. Has no respect and needs to retire. He should have actually retired many many many years ago. Definitely think twice about going to see him. Unfortunately had to leave a one star review and believe me that aggravated me that I even had to leave that. Very unprofessional. Totally disgusted with how he treated and spoke to my 14yr old grandson and my daughter who happens to be an adult. He will be reported. From what I hear as well this is not the first time he has treated his patients like this as well.

Arrogant rude unprofessional disgusting excuse for being a dr. I don’t even want to give him 1 Star but unfortunately to leave a review I had to.

best doctor ever im 10 so ishould know

Dr Battista has taken care of my two kids since they were born. My son is 21 and my daughter is 17. I have complete confidence in his ability and knowledge as a doctor. He takes the time to explain everything at each visit.

This doctor lacks professionalism and care. Besides the fact that he’s extremely quirky, he lectured me today about vaccinations in front of my child. In fact, he berated me. I definitely gave him my own lecture about his behavior. The doctor was out of line and unprofessional. I will never see him again in that practice.

Being a patient at Garden City Pediatrics for 21 years, I would never see Dr. Battista again. Had I not needed a sick appointment I wouldn’t of bothered. Entering the room he said “why are you here” no eye contact, turned and faced his computer for 10 minutes asking about my parents names and occupations. I was seen as an inconvience to him because I guess my age and symptoms were up to his par to care for. Uncompassionate and rude. See another physician at the practice.

I took my young innocent son to see this new pediatrician and he did NOT have good bed side manner and he was rough with him. When it came to the part where he was to examine his privates my son felt uncomfortable and the doctor grabbed my son and roughly pulled down his pants! Then tells me that he failed the physical and that my son needs help! This idiot doctor needs help, how do you treat a young child with rough hands when it comes to something an uncomfortable situation like that. My son and I were very upset and would definitely tell everyone Don't Take Your Child to Him if you care about your kid!!!!
